This is great advice! Also actually doing and implementing the stuff you've learned in real life has proven immensely helpful for me when if comes to learning it faster and better! May do a video on that in the future :)
Thank you so much for this simplified explanation. Been struggling with various study techniques and I've been getting bogged down, including using Feynman. Clearly I did not properly understand it as explained by other commentators. This way I feel will definitely allow me to progress more smoothly in my studies. I do want to add that I get absolute value out of your videos. Amongst many things, it is the simplicity in analysis, your memorable analogies and quality presentation. They have genuinely improved my life in the short time I have been following you. Thank you.

Thanks, I didn't know about the Technique! A French author/poet (I am French 🇫🇷, not bragging 😄 ) said "Ce qui se conçoit bien s'énonce clairement, et les mots pour le dire arrive aisément.", which can be translated : "Whatever is well conceived is clearly said, and the words to say it flow with ease.". I always try to learn and work following this quote, but now I have a whole process to APPLY it ! The Feynman Technique seems to be based on this principle as well. Awesome. 😱
I need to practice this technique to get good at it. I am already a fast learner, but I need to take the time improve this skill for myself. Thank you, again, Art of Improvement!
You can take this method to the next level by recording a video to teach yourself and watch it a few times to see the parts you struggle with. In time this skill will also help you with your public speaking ability. Practice makes perfect :D

So if one doesn't know ABOUT the bird, when asked specifically if they know the NAME of the bird they should answer "No" - even if they DO know the name of the bird? Answering "no" would make sense if the question was instead "Do you know of / about that bird?" or something more general like that. But the question was if the person knew a specific fact, not "about". That part didn't make sense to me.

No I am not it's toxic
This is an accurate Uber-natural way of learning. I’m glad someone explained the process well. “Names don’t constitute knowledge”

The best way to learn faster is to watch videos at speed x2
I thought I was the only one who did that. Damn! I'm not unique.
Or 4x !
The amount I've learned from helium voices is unreal.
I used your idea on this video that's fantastic bro
Thanks very much

Feynman was such an eccentric and interesting character, his book Surely Youre Joking Mr.Feynman is a fantastic read!
This is exactly the method that I stumbled across naturally in my process! Confirmation!

I'm gonna use this Feynman Technique to understand Feynman Technique to use it in every topic.
This is my first topic.
" Feynman Technique"
I need to practice this technique to get good at it. I am already a fast learner, but I need to take the time improve this skill for myself. Thank you, again, Art of Improvement!
Interesting and helpful as always. One thing, though: I believe the title should've been "how to learn more efficiently", not "faster" :)

Thanks , very good video , explained very well.
Now I know why my dad always told me, "if you cannot express something simply, you don't really know it fully".
Absolutely true...your dad was a wise - pragmatic person.
Thank you
I didn't have to study much to get a profound hang of the English language, so my teacher advised me to take up teaching it.
Thank you!
Thank you for Skill Share free trial! I’m signed up!
Another great video. I will definitely try it. Cheers
When I was in school of engineering, among some collegue we called this method the "grandma's test"
thanks for the link! stay safe
helpful!
Thank You! ✨😃
Thank You for the Free Trial! ✨😃

I have a _one step process_ to learn _anything thoroughly!_

Would it be wrong to say I already study like this?I mean, I thought its something I made up,as my technique for studying

Amazon video 🥺💗
People who speed up their learning usually end up not knowing anything they learned.
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you
Interesting.
I highly recommend watching Feynman's lecture from Cal Tech.
I put this on 2x speed so I could learn it faster
Are you sure you are retaining everything at that speed?

This channel is absolutely fantastic. Quick question. Would being able to write an article about the subject also quality as explaining it?

Forget about the feynman technique used active recall and spaced repetition
"The more you learn, the more you earn" -Warren Buffet
Can I learn English through this technique?
You can learn about English this way, but, you must “acquire” language, which isn’t the same as learning facts
Remember kids disguisedtoast has a higher iq than Feynman
Do we really need an other video explaining this technique?
Hi
You can't learn anything without learning it.
Tbf you'd know the bird has a brown throat.
Ahh... so when I explain quantum electrodynamics to a leftist, I should be sure to use VERY simple language... as if speaking with a child.
Right on.
Who the damn child studies political science at 6 years old ?? 😭I am 19 years old child yaaar
Thank You
