- Just when we thought France van life couldn't shock us any more we pull into a campsite in Avignon. We quickly discover this campsite, right on the river, was a great place to explore this city.
Avignon is a real gem of the South of France and we explore some of the must see sites in today's video. The market, Pope's Palace, the very famous Pont Saint-Bénézet bridge and other places in this cultural paradise.
HAVE YOUR SAY
As a bit of a side story today.... Van life community - does it have a common thread? We loved this place as campers in tents, cars, busses and motorhomes worth upwards of half a million pounds were all on site. Lots of thumbs all round and happy faces.
You've seen what we think about France, and how travel equality seems.... well, much more equal. But what do you think? Does it matter what you drive or sleep in, does it affect your enjoyment? Is there a stigma around converted vehicles or older vans?

What a place with its food, sites and general vibe.
As a bit of a side story today.... Van life equality. We loved this place as campers in tents, cars, busses and motorhomes worth upwards of half a million pounds were all on site. On the way out we passed a massive unimog. Lots of thumbs all round and happy faces.

As long as they're good people then it doesn't matter
I think you appreciate your bus more after all the hard work you've put into it .x
@@holdenman8850 love this, and we have been very lucky on the whole with the people we have met. We love it.
Very true that@@katrinagray7733
That makes the trip so much more special for you all@@WanderbusAdventures
The Gardens look so peaceful. Stunning views x glad you enjoyed it x Thanks for taking us along with you x
It was a really great spot. I’m sure more cultured folk would have appreciated the first part of the palace more, but the garden was a nice stopping point.
Thank you for watching and commenting too. Really appreciate it.
Another great vi9deo guys. That looks like a city worth exploring.
Thank you 😊. We certainly think so, so much more to see too.
Loved the unbreakable Titus reference . Haven't commented in ages but am still here watching an enjoying
Ah thanks James. That is incredible niche knowledge. He does love Pinot noir too. So may appear in the next video.
Loving your series on France absolutely brilliant ❤
Thanks so much. We are loving sharing it. Great to hear you’re enjoying it - we’ve a couple more vids left in us too. 🚐🚐🚐
Another great video guys👍🏻. I think we've caught up now!
We were so behind. I don't think I've missed any?! X
Thanks so much for watching them all. We’ve a couple more to go of the France adventure x
Those cicadas were very loud lol, great vid
It’s amazing how quickly you stop hearing them when you’re in the moment. Doesn’t work so well on video 😆
Can't type, stuffin pizza :)
😂
Amazing how much money people will spend on luxury campers, probably buy it for half in a few years. A vegan would go hungry in France, food there is so rich and buttery, have you eaten snails yet? You seem to be having a great holiday.
Oh absolutely. We didn’t mention it but this one had a Porsche inside it and a trailer. It was mega.
You’re right on the food, and we have yet to try snails. What are they like?
Stayed on the same camp site and the little free electric ferry boat is brilliant, loved Avignon and the history, enjoy 👍
It’s brilliant isn’t it?! It just shuttles back and forth too, which is so handy. We have loved Avignon. Would defiantly recommend. Thanks David.
