How to start Starfield Shattered Space? Just download the dlc, then when you fast travel anywhere, you’ll automatically travel to the space station where the quest begins.
If any of your mods used Starfield Script Extender, then the update will break those mods until Script Extender catches up. If they are cosmetic/inventory mods, then there shouldn't be too many issues, but it depends on the mod.
It has a Lovecraftian setting that provides a very dreamlike vibe with that background tone, with a gloomy atmosphere characteristic of space horror works such as the movie Event Horizon or the game Dead Space. It even has shades of the first Alien movie. What you can't expect is that it will scare you, because nowadays not even horror movies scare anyone.

if only it would trigger, spent 2 hours zipping in and out of systems, it wont trigger, from what i've read i'm not the only one. 2 hours of my life wasted.

Just before the DLC released today I met myself and now I have a doppelgänger on my crew. So far a lot of fetch quests…but enjoyable.
What are you talking about.... Fetch quests? I have spent 3 hrs in it so far, not on fetch quest

So where is the horror elements? Was kinda expecting Dead Space theme.
The whole aesthetics are horror like, and this isn't a horror game like dead space, its more leaning towards that atmosphere
Just going by interviews by devs who said there would be horror elements. Not this. The Terrormorph quest had more horror,.as weak as it was
