The E-100 is one of the rarest tanks in War Thunder. Offered only as a Tournament Reward as either locked to your account or for a MASSIVE $2000, that means most players won't even see an E-100 never mind play it.
(I won mine in a CC Tournament - Otherwise, I wouldn't have been a good enough player to win them in a normal Tournament)
The E-100 is basically a diet Maus tank. It's lighter but has less power. The side armour is 120mm but there are some side skirts that offer a really good amount of protection but these can be shot off and expose the thinner armour on the side.
It's a very cathartic experience to play the Maus and E-100, so I thought I'd give it a shot since I haven't played it in a while! :)

P61 BLACKWIDOW CAS
Fair warning for future reference, if that Super Pershing was firing APCR in that first match he could 100% have penetrated your turret cheeks at that range so you really weren't as safe as you thought. The APCR round of the Super Pershing maintains over 240mm flat penetration out to 1.5km meaning that anywhere within that range the flat 232mm middle of the cheeks on either side of the mantlet are vulnerable which can either lead to the Gunner and Loader being killed or even the ammunition being detonated if you're unlucky.

@@SPACECOWBOY_Hejmaybe in pure armor thickness, but its survivability is overall better because of the sideskirts making it so much harder to penetrate the side while they're on.

The smoke shells on the maus 75 are underrated. They can wreck havoc on an enemy's strategy.

The E-100 is kind of like the IS-3 where in a down tier or even tier match it’s nearly invincible if you’re good at the game, but in an up tier it’s way outmatched. You can still do well in the uptiers but it’s definitely harder.
The thing is with the E-100 is that it was going to use the exact same Engine and Transmission system as the Maus.
I enjoy mine. People get mad at you for just spawning it saying " wow you really spend 2k on that. Loser" when 95% of them never sold for that price ...

The sabot is a bit shit, I can see why you don't use it. The explosive mass and angle penetration however are not the problem though; the problem is the horrendous accuracy, it's awful bro.

with the wierd shell it is less bad volumetric wise, and it is easyer to kill t 54s with, the less pen shell is more fun but the wierd shell is def my go to for some more casual gameplay

When i see one of these heavies i usually enter a symbiotic relationship where i use them as armor and in return protect flanks and help repairs

E-100 has a ton more hull traverse speed then the Maus
additionally a tiny M4 (early) HE shell can litterally 1-shot a Maus when placed right.

Love my e100 sucks to play sometimes cause as soon as the other team learns of your existence every plane is looking to kill you love when people see it and have no clue what to do even though it’s essentially still a maus the mobility is probably the best perk tho by far compared to the maus that is
In my 4000 hours in game I’ve only ever seen 1 E100 in game. I killed it with a conquerer.
So you see tanks before they break out of cover, and you turn side on to the enemy spawn in the middle of the main road! That kind of play doesn't make much sense unless you already know exactly where the enemy are! Funny how the well known youtubers who play this seem to have exactly the same play style.
Great video Bawz. Hope you see this but I got a question to which anyone can answer. Why does no one angle their turrets in the Maus or E100??? I don’t really find these tanks to be an issue to deal with because of that.

I have a question for anybody who sees this. When you have a premium account are you granted the opportunity to place 6 of the first bush? 6 of the same one not 6 bushes total.
Also, why does the T72B get the 9m119 refleks when the T72AV turms doesn’t? ChatGPT says the turms does and I find that silly.
You had to buy the bush packs some 9 years ago in order to put 6 of the same bush on.
The TURMS doesn't get Refleks because it's an export tank and Syria doesn't use them, they're too expensive.
I think T-72AV Turms doesn't get 9M119 missile because it's the T-72A model, which doesn't have the fire control systems for it, but i'm not 100% sure.
