Bro, here's the formula for calculating average of a batter -
Total Runs scored - divided by - Number of times OUT
Example, You scored 400 runs in 5 matches but got out 2 times. Your average is 200.
It doesn't matter how many matches you played. For example, if you played 5 matches and got out only 1 time and scored 100 runs, your average is 100. If you are not a team man, you would simply try and save yourself from getting out and inflate the average.
Batting average means number of runs you score divided by number of times u get out,some people have higher average with less runs because they managed to stay not out in some innings

When u are not out at the end of the innings your average per match increases.... so if a batsman scores 300 in 6 matches and gets dismissed in all the 6 games its simple 300 divided by 6 he will be averaging 50....
If a batsman scores 300 in 6 innings without getting dismissed a single time he will be averaging 300....
So if u are not out that will definitely increase your average per game....
