I have seen the original night manager and i am completely in love with that.....This one i'll give give it a shot ...there are few things that are very important for this one to work - very nuanced stuff
1) They need to show loneliness of those characters for them to feel human and real. Because anil kapoors character (played by hugh laurie in real series is such a magnificent character) he displayed the loneliness of an emperor and the narcissm of the same with quite subtlety. and aditya roy kapoors character (orioginally played by tom hiddleston has displayed the loneliness through is work, his past and his need to be stay away from the world)
2) they need to show how richer countries exploit and manipulate poor countries politics and resources to fill rich peoples pockets including ministers and wealthy billionaires.
3) The dynamics of the inner circle of the anil kapoors family.
4) Do not over explain or dumb down events in the real series. Like the suicide of richard ropers (anil kapoors character) colleagues daughter.
5) something that i felt on personal level is that being excluded from the world and seating on higher seats the criminal/welathy circle . the loneliness is eating them away.
6) AND LASTLY ADITYA ROY KAPOOR HAS TO BE CHARMING!!!!!! AND SO DOES ANIL KAPOOR (DO NOT GO DHOOM DHADAKA) HANDLE WITH SUBTLETY . THAS THE KEY.........PLS NO DIALOGUEBAAZI. THE MOST IMPACTFUL DIALOGUES SHOULD ALSO BE SAID IN THE LEAST OF IMPORTANCE

The Night Manager is by far one of the best tv series i have watched. Pity no season 2. This adaptation is really up against the best to get it right.

This is not even book adaptation.This is copied from the series. If it was taken from the book, adapted from it which is actually hard work and would have been original work. But as usual just watched the British series, got Anil Kapoor and just shot same to same. Just skipped hard scenes as tom getting beaten up by hired thieves to win trust of the bad guy for example.. That was something cool. This is short cut hahahha
