      Hey Tony, these turtle beans are the tastey southwest black bean you find in most grocery stores. They are used in many different recipes but we like them in the crock pot fixed just like pintos. Happy RED Friday to you and your Family!

    Beautiful bean greens. I love growing black beans. I love shelling the beans. Beautiful jar of beans. I keep mine is mason jars too.

      Im not sure if I can handle another round, we are close to 100 quart jars of GB this year already and our vines are green and producing like crazy. Im tired of canning already LOL Have a great weekend bro

    Those are nice-looking beans. What kind of quanity of dry beans per plant would you say you get? I was thinking of growing some next year and wondered just wondered.

      Hey, Patty, I hope you are doing well; these seven plants all together will give us 2 or 3 quarts of dry beans, I'm guessing. We did 4 plants last year and got one and a half quarts.
