When I thought it was too late I think I heard God say don't you remember what I said I will never leave you nor forsake you and then In my mind I said wait is this actually God and then I heard yes it's me your father
As a person with OCD, I have to say be very careful which thoughts you listen to. I believed many thoughts I had were from the Lord, in fact a similar experience is what finally led me to Christianity. But over time, I became very dependent on 'hearing' God speak to me through spoke word that I ignored His teachings in the bible and only paid attention to what was in my head. I realized I had been listening to my own thoughts after a while because the same 'god' I thought I was listening to turned out to be the enemy and it tried to convince me Jesus wasn't Lord.
Whether God the Father, Son or Holy Spirit truly spoke to you is between you and Him, but be very careful, there are countless examples in the OT about people thinking they are receiving messages from God when in reality they were listening to their own thoughts or worse lies from the enemy.
John 1:4 "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."
The word of God is already written and easily accessible through the bible, make sure you don't wind up leaning on your own understanding as I did, for when I realized that most of what I was hearing wasn't from God but myself it did shake my faith somewhat.

May the Lord guide us to be a reflection of His love and may He deliver you from sin in the name of Jesus. Remember that He gave you authority over the enemy, so when temptation comes, rebuke satan in the name of Jesus, and seek God's presence.
May He also strengthen us and help us be obedient, meek and live lives that please Him. Let's endure the race with our eyes set in our reward in heaven, where God will wipe away every tear and there will be no more pain or sorrow.

I struggled stopping my gaming addiction but now because of Jesus making me watch this now I have lost the desire to play video games as much and I have replaced those thoughts with holy ones.

I completely understand you after being addicted to this one game especially since i was 12. Satan has inflitrated every aspect and category of materialism. Look at how in the last 15+ years everything has become an addiction literally. Everything perfected to become the perfect addiction to “numb” you from the difficulties of the world. Games, social media, internet, drugs, movies, shows, etc everything literally, to take you away from the Bible, to take you away from God. Isn’t it crazy how everything is sexualised, no modesty, whether in shows or clothing, violence and filth constantly being the theme in movies. What has happened? Satan is going full throttle on us and we are becoming tools of the snake, instead of the Holy King of Kings Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We must start sacrificing all these things for God, he must be iur number one priority and we must do everything for him, it’s not that games are necessarily bad, but are they becoming your “God”? Are they taking your time away from God? Are they holy games? but in reality we can turn the things in the materialistic world for the Glory of God, afterall that’s what we are made for, for his Glory. Let ys use our gifts and talents given to us from God to do things for gim and his kingdom. Whether it’s games, art, anime, cooking etc.

That’s great to hear. Playing video games is ok but don’t let be an idol. Your desires have changed that’s good. I play but I always try to put God first. I still desire to find time for him. However, if you feel like God doesn’t want you to play then don’t play.
Earlier today I was crying, praying to God that one day my addiction can leave. After listening to songs, I started getting videos related to getting rid of addiction. I always wondered why I kept losing at trying to get rid of it but now I've been able to watch a few videos and I'm starting to understand now. God is listening ✝

You need to practice just accepting that a thought is a thought, you get 60,000 thoughts a day and when you practice this eventually these thoughts will bounce off of you just like other thoughts. U just need to stop engaging with them, thinking and thoughts are different things and once you understand that you will be better. Remember it is a journey and its not gonna go away in just a week, remember that you are not alone.

I have been struggling with my insecurities and self hatred. I have no idea how to stop these thoughts, however i put my trust in God and just hope one day i would learn to forgive myself and love myself through him. It has been a nightmare to even get close to a mirror or to even go out. For some reason i feel so down and break down.

I know the feeling, it happens to me more times than I'd like, even my thoughts sometimes slander against my will. Leave it in the hands of God, buddy. Every time you get the feeling of swearing, try to remember that it's not something that brings glory to the Lord. If you do swear make a mental note of that and repent, as many times as you need. Give time to God to work through you, to change your heart. You might not be sinless but you'll sin less. God bless you

This video has rly inspired me. Before i used to feel more holy, like i felt good and pure in my words, thoughts and actions. After a few days of this i felt it was okay for me to stop. It was a constant "i'll read it tommorow" mindset and so i grew farther from God. After seeing this video and many other videos on my for you page i feel like this is a subtle hint from God for me to stop and focus on him and not turn my attention away from him. God has helped my out a really rough patch in tempation that i know many tend to struggle with. I thank God for allowing me to have the courage to send this comment and I hope that whoever is reading this knows that God has done so much for us and a simple thing as reading 3 chapters in his book and praying at least once a day can make a difference. Im not saying your going to feel the holy Spirits bright power in you over night but you keep being consistent and following what Gods words have told us to do im sure youll start seeing more changes in your life as if your mind was brand new. I suffer from intrusive thinking daily . It causes great anxiety, fear and honestly intrusive are very traumatic to have . It ruined me so bad to where I started seeing a huge downfall in my life and mental health. I never felt so ruined ever . Intrusive thoughts literally ruined my life and it’s way more serious than most people think. Intrusive thoughts isn’t just being close on the edge of a building and thinking “what if I fall of this building ?“ It has something to do with “I can’t do this .” Or “ I look ridiculous today in this outfit .” It’s a killer to self esteem and an ultimate damage to your well- being . It’s really tough to battle 😭
