Lovely video. I made 14 one-week business trips to Honolulu in the late '90s, and always stayed at the Outrigger Reef, just to the west of the Halekulani. I always had one dinner each trip in the Orchids Restaurant. It was easily my favorite meal of the week. Simply superb. Thanks for sharing it.

We love the Halekulani. Have stayed many times. It’s elegance and quiet ambiance is unsurpassed in Waikiki. Btw, Le Mer no longer requires jackets for men. Just collared shirts, slacks and closed toe shoes.

I have not but it is on my list. I hear it is a nice boutique hotel with the Halekulani Bakery on site. The views may be tough to find as it is behind beachfront buildings but in the heart of Waikiki and right next to Beach Walk. Let me know what you think after your stay.
