I’d definitely say if you want a better chance against the G37, I’d go with the 3.53 rear ratio if running 18s or 3.69 if running 19s. Other than that a tune would definitely make a big difference and I’d recommend motordyne ART pipes and exhaust as well as the new Z1 intake and/or boost the car and you would be faster than any N/A G37 LOL. Awesome video!!

i think the stock diff gearing might be better for the g35 coupe cause 2nd gear ends around 60 mph and since the nismo diff is shorter geared youll redline quicker and doesnt have much top end so youll have to shift earlier between shift cause 1st gear goes to 30 then 2nd to 55 i suck at explaining lol
I definitely get what you mean! Maybe in like a 20 roll I may get the jump due to the gearing, but we’ll see in the future if I decide to switch gearing!
I got a 08 g37s coupe with 6tm....I love my g37s.....& still have 2 04s g35 coupes ...one is automatic..my second is 6mt breambo package....I don't see myself selling them 🤔......
I feel you, I feel like if I got another g37 in the future I wouldn’t sell! Definitely not selling the g35 though!

That's a lot of useless mods. G35/G37 don't get any real benefits from bolt on mods. The only mod that's really going to get you moar powah is FI.
Fair point of view, honestly if I didn’t have a channel I wouldn’t have gone this far and would have just turbocharged to begin with, but I’m going through the N/A stage, then I’ll eventually get to turbo stage!
@@JoeVazquez I had a G37S 6MT sedan that I wanted to boost but that's probably approaching $10k, which wasn't worth it to me but I enjoy watching others do it.
That’s essentially why I do it, I don’t do it just for me, I do it as content for others, aswell as a good way to have a side hustle that perhaps may turn into a main hustle one day haha
And making your own turbo kit will reduce that number drastically!
Remember it’s people who have cheap g models they can’t afford real cars if it’s not a m model q or j model put those weak base Infiniti up

What year is your g35? Ive got the first model and its fast to the point i think the Japanese lied about the power. Im saying this because at the time i only had headers and test pipes and was creeping on a g37. To be exact ive got 2003 first production, all the electronics cost more, sensors and such.😢

Sadly The g35 is underpowered compared to the G37. And the potential on the 37 is greater and more potential. My nitrous 35 wouldn’t mess with my37 n/a
Nitrous is dependent on the shot, you can definitely beat a g37 with a g35 on nitrous 100%!

It did walk the g35 😂😭 first race he was in 3rd and not second (we only did 3 runs with different camera angles but same races) and that was why I won

@Joe Vazquez yes that aluminum intake that just absorbs heat, that heatsheild wrap won't do a single difference trust me.
@Joe Vazquez i had a "cold" air intake before on my other G it was an injen intake and that did not benefit it any way
Counter argument, intakes already aluminum with the upper and lower manifold
But you’re right, it’s not the BEST but it’s still better. Also I guess I could create the same thing but with plastic or even carbon fiber
