10 Unexpected Golden Point Finishes (NRL)

- Golden point matches certainly get fans on the edge of their seats as they eagerly anticipate what happens next knowing that the next point scored, will decide the match. Most golden point games consist of the forwards playing through the middle third of the field and eventually getting a quick play the ball so the kickers can have a shot at a field goal.
However some of those matches had an unexpected finish that not many people would have predicted. For this list, the match obviously must be in golden point extra time and cannot be concluded with a field goal...

Ball will have forward momentum when sprinting, there are rules about it. But that definitely looks about 3 metres ahead

If the best team walks off with a win and two points after 80mins and the worst team walks off with a loss and no points after 80mins then two evenly matched teams in a draw should walk off with a point each after 80mins
How many teams put in a big second half comeback with two or three tries in the last 20mins just to lose in golden point, bit of a slap in the face
They deserve something, lose two golden points in a season and that could be the difference in finishing top 8 or not
