Don't knock the Athearn Blue Box rolling stock. It does need some work (metal wheelsets, Kadee couplers, add weight) but after that the stuff runs well forever and if you need say a large club fleet, they're an extremely economical way to accomplish that and the molded on details make them hard to damage unless you REALLY abuse them. Weather them properly and you can't ask for much more without taking having to take out a reverse mortgage on your home.

Did you at least know that the engine from train set can make steam ?
That's why you got this little white bottle that came with the box when you open it.
So you can you squeeze it in a cup of water to add in the engine by removing the white bell.
