Breithorn Half Traverse Photos Part 1

Our first foray into a slightly more serious mountaineering in Zermatt, Switzerland. We were expected to go up a snow route Pollux or Castor on this trip, but given the snow conditions with lots of crevasses along the way, we were given the option to do the half-traverse.
It was definitely a scary experience for both of us given the high level of exposure, but after we got back to the Matterhorn Express, I never felt such a sense of euphoria as I did to know I was still alive.
