Welp, if I don't get confused enough switching between a 6 deck vs double deck, S17 vs H17, now I'm at a single deck game. Lol. I went down to play 6 deck and got very confused when I didn't see the cards. Apparently Atlantis has ONLY single deck games in the morning. Who knew! Anyway, I played this game totally blind to the strategy and just assumed I would play it the same as double deck. I'm not sure that was correct, but that's what I did. 🤷♀️ Let me know your thoughts on single deck. And these multicard 16s!! Surely the right play is to stand in a single deck game with a multicard 16, right? ...But of course the next card to come was always a 5. Geez.
Everyone tells me to Hit or stand but be consistent. Getting beat up by the dealer isn't fun. Getting beat up by one card more then your hand is a huge red flag to get up and find another table 🤔 well on a 6 deck shoe anyway. ( hard to do on a private reserved table) Single deck you would (Assume) things should turn around and swing in your favor. I was counting the cards watching the video and the count still wasn't in your favor. Some days its better to just sleep in.
I never play single deck, with the constant shoe shuffling its harder to go on big runs, less splits and doubles, and theres always wacky rules. Double and 6 deck the only way to go.
You did well considering the fact that it was a single deck plus the style of dealing. I’ve never been a fan of the old school way of pitching the cards. Thanks for the upload!!
I can only play single deck at my nearest casino. As far as I know, the hit, stay, split & double “rules” are the same. Always hit 16 no matter how many decks you are playing. You did a great job for a rookie😀
i just started playing single deck too. its very up and down. one thing i mainly noticed when i played single deck is people cut near the top?? im really not sure if that helps with the odds but i've been doing that and its been working for now *knocks on wood lol* i heard her say something about more that 5 cards from the top lolol so maybe cut just enough where its more than 5 next time? anyways, thanks for entertaining us.
I'm not sure about single deck and to who's advantage it is to have your cards face down? I did play at The Venetian over the summer and they had something called Blackjack Wild or some crazy name like that. Anyway, the house would pay for your doubles and / or splits....however, they also pushed whenever they busted w/ 22 against your anything. Let me tell ya, I never realized how much the house busts on 22! I always enjoy your action.
Single deck is a good game for 1-2 players at the table. It would be difficult to find a single deck game that offers S17. I love the Atlantis, and hope you will film more sessions there!
I prefer to watch you play double deck or 6 deck. At least i know you have better winning chances and I'm not getting secretly angry at how the shoe is going for you lol
Face down was always the standard for single and double deck games before COVID. Traditionally, players enjoyed handling the cards themselves, and it slows the game down a little which is good for the player.
Who knows which stocks he is talking about...we went a little crazy with a few of them that we are waiting to squeeze. We don't use a broker though. We use Robinhood.
@@BeyondBlackjack even with those rules it's still a very strong game. I always say to people who question single deck " why do you think almost all casino's don't offer single deck". Reno is famous for single deck, it however can be a game of huge swings
@@playthingsracing88 I suspect there are a good number of both, but I can't imagine a 6/5 game would restrict doubling to 10 & 11 only. The house already has such a big edge with the 6/5 payout.

Single deck? 🤔 Yike!!! I would never play single or double deck.
Keep in mind that the house has the winning advantage on single or double deck.

That dealer was on fire!
It’s nice seeing you playing different games
Its nice just seeing her
You did well considering the fact that it was a single deck plus the style of dealing. I’ve never been a fan of the old school way of pitching the cards. Thanks for the upload!!
I appreciate that!
Would you give us a little tour of the grounds and maybe the room. I haven't gone yet but would like to one day.
I'll try to add the room to one of the upcoming videos

Thanks Karri
Single deck is all about strategy and I usually play higher bets. Great video
Thanks

great video, 6:08 hate when that happens drop your bet size and boom big hand lol

Thanks...I think you are talking about Free Bet Blackjack. I played it once years ago. It was a crazy game.
I played there years ago, great vibe!
It's a great place with really fun dealers

I don't get to Reno often but definitely will when we go.
I will only play a six deck shoe, but it’s fun watching you play 🤑🌷 You are such a breath of fresh air with your big personality 🥰
😊 thank you
Singel deck is a totally different game than double a six-deck shoes. Personally, I love the single deck game.
It's definitely a bit different
That dealer is a boss at pitchin those cards
Single decks are tough .. and hate when you can only double down on 10 and 11
Not being able to double on soft cards and 9's are huge casino advantages.
My hands got paper cuts just from watching. Did you end up with any?
No..lol
Good luck 🍀
Nice session
It's not the same. Good luck to you

Well I'm glad you aren't happy to see me lose...lol.
@@BeyondBlackjack no. I'm always rooting for you to try and get a non-taxable hand pay 😆
Good luck 🍀🤞
Piece of advice don’t play blackjack games that have rules like that it only cripples you on a game you should be having a better edge on
Is there a reason the cards are dealt face down?
I think it’s so the other players can’t see them and count
Face down was always the standard for single and double deck games before COVID. Traditionally, players enjoyed handling the cards themselves, and it slows the game down a little which is good for the player.
Face down is the way it's alwsys been.
@@VegasAction that's definitely not the reason
Press the wins try to offset the downs
Lsst time I went heads up at single deck, dealer would shuffle aftrf 2 hands
Wow...heads up too? That's crazy.
I'm not crazy about single deck BJ just came back from Vegas and played it and was not good.
With good rules it's simple the best blackjack you can play house edge wise
I think two or more hands much better than one for single deck
I wonder if they even allow that? I know they don't allow mid-shoe entry.
@16:40 which stocks? And what broker lol
Who knows which stocks he is talking about...we went a little crazy with a few of them that we are waiting to squeeze. We don't use a broker though. We use Robinhood.
Beyond Blackjack switch too webull robinhood sucks😂😂😂😂
need a bigger bet spread. at least 1-6.
Great try.
Very annoying how the dealer tosses it throws the cards at her. I would move to a different table if it was me.
It is just part of the "charm" of a single deck pitch game.
Why your hand can touch card
If I couldn't touch my cards, I wouldn't know what I had.
@@BeyondBlackjack Hahahaha
The reason I stay away from single deck is most casinos have horrible rules
I'm sure. I don't see it very often.
I hate that the dealer throws the cards at you, what was that?!?
It's a single deck pitch game so that's part of the "allure." Lol
@@BeyondBlackjack lol ok I feel better now 😂
Hi
Don't like single deck when you can only double on a 10 or 11
The double on 10 & 11 only is a Reno/Northern Nevada thing. Single deck games in the Las Vegas area allow doubling on any two cards.
@@jamesmoninger1982 Are they 3/2 or 6/5 games?
Good to know! I didn't like that rule at all.
@@BeyondBlackjack even with those rules it's still a very strong game. I always say to people who question single deck " why do you think almost all casino's don't offer single deck". Reno is famous for single deck, it however can be a game of huge swings

Dealer doesn't shuffle very well?
If you know how to press your bet on single you can make a killing but it’s kind of hard especially with all the face cards 🃏
I beg of you to stop taking a hit on soft 18
Why is that?
It's personal preference and you have to assume the dealer has a 10 underneath. It's a free hit essentially
You’re a scared player if you’re not hitting a soft 18 against a 10
Ugly table. Seems like half deck penetration and 6 to 5
Very bad rules for the player
