Thanks for posting.. Neat idea for a stand.. After putting my scope on a black plastic bag, for the first time of winter viewing (just got my scope, an Orion XT8 in July), this looks like a really neat project for me to build in my shop.... Your videos are very well presented... Clear Skies, Les
I am using it right now, looking at Jupiter. I did modify it and made it into a three leg table. If your camping let say and the only place that is open is the beach, it works great in sand. You have to jump it down though, with three legs that gets a little tricky. Stay in the center. Thanks.... Good luck, Dennis
Keeps your dob dry and puts it at a proper hight. I love it!

Great idea and video. Thanks!
Thanks for you sub . Sorry I haven't done any new vids on the tel. But I hope you like Paramotors.
Hi Dennis,
I really like this dob base. Do you have a drawing where I can make it my own? Thank you.
William
William Jin No I don't. But I wood change it to a three leg table. I did that. Much better.
nice job!
thank you
A really good thing to do to the base is to install a lazy susan bearing and then the scope will rotate so easy.
Have you tryed that? How did it work? Nice idea. If it isn't computerized you would have two pivot points.
i bet that table top is an ancal killer :P
Joli telescope ☺😊😀
