Hi, could you explain how to have the rooms cleaned 1 bij 1 (finish 1 room at the time before going to the next) Now its going back and forth to one another, thx.
@@CleanChef Thx, just found out that the whole 2nd floor was seen as 1 room, deviding them solved it, funny though, because the second @ Revo i bought for downstars did devide the rooms after the 1st run by itself, maybe a settings thing.
Hi, we got the Q Revo recently but I am struggling with a few things in their app and cannot find this online. I tried to contact the Roborock support but so far no response so I am hoping that you or your followers might know the answers to my questions: 1, I am not sure when to use Schedule function and when to use Routine. What is the difference and when would you use them? Are they connected in some way? 2, If I use Customize cleaning set up for rooms and then schedule rooms to be cleaned in sequence, will it vacuum all of them first and then mop those rooms with tiles or will it vacuum one room and mop it and then move to another room and clean it based on the Room Customization? Thank you :)
Thanks for the questions and happy to try and help! 1 - Routines - ou can set the device to clean a specific area, room, or the whole house at one touch in the Routines. You can also set schedules in the Routines so that the device can be scheduled to clean a specific area, room, or the whole house. 2 - I actually don't know this one off the top of my head (been too long since we used the Q REVO). When you try it what does it do? You should be able to see it in real time to know how to goes about its cleaning operations!
I have tried the following steps connecting it to wifi but failed all time. Wifi reset - Fail Roborock S50 factory reset - Fail Wifi Router 20/40mhz - Fail Delete mi home app - Fail Change Wifi password - Fail Try another wifi router - Fail turn roborock off/ on - failTried Macbook mihome app version - Fail My wifi is 2.4ghz, all my other devices are conected to same router without any issues.
Woops just seeing this comment so disregard our 2.4ghz comment. I don't know what is gong on with your setup that is unusual. I would reach out to Roborock directly and let us know how they get it fixed... might help someone else with the same issue!
Does it connect to your phone? The way these things are setup is that it connects to your phone and uses that as an interface to connect to the network of your selection. You may be thinking "duh"! BUT - consider this: Before the robovac is connected to the network of your choice - it must first connect DIRECTLY to your phone (WI-FI direct - not Bluetooth). At this point your phone is connect both directly to the robovac AND the wi-fi in your home (i DO assume your phone is connected to the same wifi as you want the robot on!!) If your phone is somehow prevented from doing this - it will fail!
Thanks for the help Clean Chef!!
Any time!

Your best bet is to just do individual room cleans!

@@CleanChef thank you for your reply, I will test it. I was hoping somebody may have done so already :) Once I know I will post it here.
How can I force it to clean under my kitchen cabinet overhang?
You can try to zone clean that area?
@@CleanChef thanks

Irobot6
Both are great options!
This guy never actually used the app.
This is just the app setup! You will then select quick map to start using/cleaning!
