I really love how the young main looks a bit ashamed that his dad starts dancing in the cafe, but then he continues the tradition. by dancing to the same tune and sending it to his father when he himself became a father. I can't stop watching this! Reminds me of when I would be driving the car with my teenage daughter next to me and Hall and Oates would come on the radio with "You Make My Dreams Come True" and I would start "driver's seat" dancing to the utter chagrin of my daughter. In 2017, my then-21 year old daughter was riding with me when Mambo No. 5 came on the car radio. She remarked that she remembered me dancing with her to that song in the living room. I didn’t remember it, but she did.
I have watched this over and over then shared it, over and over! The first time I saw it, I had just lost my son. . . it brought me to tears. I used to take our stereo outside and dance with them. I did have to laugh though because the exact song by Redbone was my ringtone. My son always asked when I was going to change it! Thank you so much for this ad! It is a precious reminder of time spent with our children and how we should treasure each and every minute, even if they think it's embarrassing ;)

I'm 66 years old. Spent 30 years as a cop in a small New England city of 50, 000 people. I saw horrific shit. In my entire career I'm not ashamed to say I came home after two incidents at work that occurred 15 years apart, sat on the edge of the bed with with my wife holding my hand and sobbed uncontrollably. Just two. But mind you I have three daughters and five granddaughters and two great grandchildren and this commercial chokes me up to the point of tears each and every time. It reminds me of my younger days and sharing my music then with my kids and grandkids. Damn...getting old sucks but if you play it right with family you'll be remembered as long as those memories are passed down.

I love this commercial. Can't stop watching it. It reminds me of the time, 4 years ago, my 12 year old granddaughter and I went to the supermarket. Over the loudspeaker one of my favorite songs came on, Uptown Funk, and I started to sing along with it. My granddaughter said, "Nana. Stop." I saw she was getting embarrassed so I stopped singing and starting dancing, right there in the fruit aisle. She turned away acting like she didn't know me. She's 16 now and I still dance in front of her, but I do it a home.

I'm 66 years old. Spent 30 years as a cop in a small New England city of 50, 000 people. I saw horrific shit. In my entire career I'm not ashamed to say I came home after two incidents at work that occurred 15 years apart, sat on the edge of the bed with with my wife holding my hand and sobbed uncontrollably. Just two. But mind you I have three daughters and five granddaughters and two great grandchildren and this commercial chokes me up to the point of tears each and every time.
It reminds me of my younger days and sharing my music then with my kids and grandkids. Damn...getting old sucks but if you play it right with family you'll be remembered as long as those memories are passed down.

I love this commercial. Can't stop watching it. It reminds me of the time, 4 years ago, my 12 year old granddaughter and I went to the supermarket. Over the loudspeaker one of my favorite songs came on, Uptown Funk, and I started to sing along with it. My granddaughter said, "Nana. Stop." I saw she was getting embarrassed so I stopped singing and starting dancing, right there in the fruit aisle. She turned away acting like she didn't know me. She's 16 now and I still dance in front of her, but I do it a home.
