Damien, I enjoy seeing how and what you are going to cook each time I see your vids, man. Thanks for sharing! "You know it makes sense..." Yes, #honest man!
Damian, I would love to see you investigate some spooky locations and take us there and tell the story and stay there. That would be awesome, although I know it would take time to research. But spooky and wild camp would be a great combination.
A nice mooch in the woods there Damien. Bet it was a long night on your own at this time of year. I totally agree with your cooking ideas. Better off just heating food up than cooking raw food from fresh. Too much hassle and work. Any hot food tastes good in the woods when your cold and hungry. Keep them coming. John.
Hi Damian because of the dense canopy in Harwood forest it seems to make it more eerie at night and the branches that have fallen on the ground seem to be all natural when i have been there, also the noises all seem to be consistent like deer barks and owl or wood pigeon, hopefully i might bump into you at some point and have a chat, great vid and keep them coming cheers Iain.
I'm glad you mentioned dog food, saves me saying it. i remain forever sceptical about the forest, dead standing trees are gonna give at some point. If there was a yeti, i think you would see signs of life, animal tracks, and some kinda den. But i'll keep an open mind, if its proved to be true years from now, we will think of you first. iv'e said before, i'm not a fan of pine forests for camping, but i enjoy watching you do it. Gary.

Nice dark protected forest and I'm thinking 3 things when I'm watching this: GAMECAM GAMECAM GAMECAM but I'm a bit obsessed - I've just got my gamecams back from a nice place and although I didn't get the big cat I was after there's always next time....

Had something that sounded bipedal circling the camp for a few minutes at about 2am one night, after a while a got up and stocked the fire but didn't see any eyeshine. I was creeping through the woods once and saw something large and brown shoot off as soon as I looked in it's direction. Heard a huge bang not long ago after I myself had been making a racket with my axe, at the time I put it down to a farmer trying to scare me off with his shotgun even though I wasn't on his land, it was very close and very loud and there was no wind so maybe it was a limb being snapped off. I am still not sure if any of my experiences have been Sasquatch related but I am going to keep searching. One tip is that they can hear all the electro magnetic radiation coming from our gadgets, there senses are super human and they will smell and test the air. So its pretty impossible to sneak up on one, not that you would want to suprise one.
I used to think they were an offshoot from the hominid tree like gigantopithecus but now I believe in the Woo, its took me a while to think like that but that makes the most sense from what I'm finding from research, thanks for your comment, atb
Hello Damian: The Kelly Kettle while being excellent for boiling water, it has other uses. The top can be cooked on with an insert put into the chimney, or the kettle removed from the firepot base & a grill added for cooking a pot of food or grilling.
Is this is a man made forest? looks like it. Those tree breaks are common as in the High Country Damen, we have the same all over mate. Man managed forests and breaks happen when harvesting lumbar. excellent vid mate!...awesome wild camp. reckon deer make sounds different over there...doesn't sound like any deer i ever heard...and i see and hear them a lot. Lot of strange things happen in the forest that defy easy explanation...watch yer six amigo...woods
I made a stove similar to yours out of a toilet brush holder from home bargains it had holes all the way down like yours to put the tent pegs through it works grand.
Hello! That forest, being dark & windy probably feels eerie & mysterious. However, in my experience, wind causes all sorts of configurations: X shapes, broken trees & branches, falling bits stuck in the ground from great heights, all naturally normal. Of course, Yeti or Sasquatch is natural too! lol! You, like me and others are yearning to discover unusual events, animals, places. In lots of cases, it is natural forces, like wind, snow, and the age of those trees. Some broken trees you marvel at appear rotten to me {way over here across the "Pond" in partially pine forests of Virginia USA [lol]}.
Try Slaley Forest, near Blanchland, not bad at this time of year, I was there on the 06/07 Feb, found a nice little well shielded place, you can see it on my channel.
Mate, had a look at your video and will give you some constuctive remarks. Wear headphones while editing, its easier to get the audio levels right if you dont have meters to work off. ATB and look forward to the next one
Hi there I have just watched your video with great interest ! there is a forest area close by where I live and I have often wondered about the snapped branches and certain branch formations that seem to be placed by whatever at the base of trees ! last october I did some filming there and it looks as though something is watching me ? I put it on youtube and titled it Watcher in the woods UK cryptid ??? as I have no idea whatsoever what it was / is ! the video was met with mixed response but some did believe it to be some kind of creature ! after watching your video I am going back to film some more of the area and the stick signs that are around ! I know that people think that the cryptid's are nonsense but I personally believe that there is so much open and forested areas of the U K that nothing is impossible as crazy as it may sound !!
I know people who have seen and heard unusual things in the woods and countryside, they are genuine and some didn't want to be named when it came to passing on their info to other researchers. There is definitely something happening we don't fully understand and I think it's paranormal in nature of which science has no answer to what is going on. Keep looking and one day you might find the evidence to show us all but without solid evidence like a body, there will always be the sceptics. ATB.
@@Fell_Wanderer your words are very true , the general public think we who believe are crazy but with all the forested areas and mountainous areas of the UK anything is a possibility !! regards Graham
an odd thing I've noticed with regard to trees is branches that make a complete u turn and point back to the trunk of the tree, it looks really unnatural but I guess that's nature for you, you get all sorts of oddities. another nice post, all the best mate.
Some breaks can't done by the wind, the thickness of the trees mean people haven't done it either. I've seen trees broken in the shape of a W, its a real mystery, thanks for watching
Nice one Damian Aye that stew looked lush ,lots of methane lol, lots of unexplained stuff ,deffo something going on and you seen my picture of that thing near Donkley wood ,unless somebody gives me a reasonable explanation to it I will believe it is something not human . Great stuff as usual Damian really enjoyed it ATB Paul
Thanks Paul, the stew looked and smelled nice but half way through I wasn't enjoying it. I couldn't stir it properly and got burned on the bottom so tasted smokey. Its an easy way to cook and I'm liking the stove. You should see if your friend has the original pic of the Donkley beast and get it analysed as there is definitely strange things going on, ATB, Damian
I dont think he has , he had a look through and must have deleted it .he has the one he posted on fb which might be a little pixelated .I,m gonna do an investigation because there is some good woods near there to camp ,I was up there in november and walked past that very spot and there was no natural landscape features what looked anything like it ,so what ever it was must have been mobile /passing through,so there is deffo something going on ATB Paul
ey up damien. greetings from north yorkshire. just subscribed to your channel. got some great informative vids. with the experiences ive had youve got some guts staying out there on your own they must like you or at least tolerate you, although im not sure which is more scary, whats wondering around that forest at night or that breakfast! keep up the good work.
the vocals sounded like beef cattle or cow to me they often seek shelter or bit of cheeky grazing in these forests if hill farms are abutting onto the forestry land they often poke their noses in go for a wander at night!! trees also distort recorded sound muffle it with their trunks so sound doesnt travel so easily gets distorted by the tree trunks deadening of the original sound
he replied! he fell for the troll. never reply to trolls. cos i love ur channel and vids, i'll give a real reply: you didn't, my response was a joke. nice vid btw, keep up the good work :)
Have you ever seen a tree pulled out of the ground and than shoved back in with the roots up? Seen a few like that in Alaska not done by machine. I stumbled on a fresh one a few years back that still had dirt in the root ball, 6inch diameter trunk and root ball 7 feet in the air. Got out of there quick!
I've not seen that but would have took a lot of strength no human could do. There is a video out on Thinkerthunker's channel where something is throwing a tree and its no small tree, you should check it out, atb
Fell Wanderer When I was younger My now wife and I were parked on the side of the mountain road at night in Oregon. Something caught my eye on the other side of the road flipped the head lights on and a large hairy thing was standing there. I think I surprised it. It ran on two leges across the road and into the brush. Scared us to death we got of there fast and have not gone up there sense.
2lostspace Dunn Ave seen similar mate, can't remember now how many there was but there was a few had tumbled down an embankment and had managed to stand up on end looked very strange indeed but so did the cliff face and embankment that had slid down and everything came to a rest there but yeah the was Scots pines standing upside-down with the root ball in the air. Take care. Liam
Paul I deleted your latest comment on Cresswell by mistake, sorry about that. The graffiti is a real shame but still a fascinating place to visit. Was great seeing you at Brockwell hope to get out with you again soon, atb mate
I could see a man with a hat then scrubbed back and was gone so I think its pareidolia where the mind can play tricks on what we see. I will look at higher quality footage as youtube highly compresses video
Damien where do you leave the car when you go there? Wanting a walk and to do my first wild camp? But don’t know where is safe to leave the car? Brilliant channel btw
Great Vid as always pal. Harwood forest is on my to do list this year I think if I can summon up the balls after the last trip LOL... Quite impressed Deborah hatswell made that Vid about it. Interesting about all the tree snaps at different heights and angles tho. Was that one of them tinned French cassoulet meals from a Adli ??? tried it once never again, even the cat walked away in disgust LOL. You can make a great little stove out of a tin of tuna in oil.. just make sure its not in tommy sauce or brine !!!! put some bog roll in the top to soak up the oil and light it. Ive used it on a few trips and Vids. just scrape the burnt paper off the top and you've got a hot smoked tuna dish to mix with whatever you've heated up with it perfick. Hats off to you ATB Steve.
Thanks Steve, I've never tried that with the tuna, you would have to be careful not tainting the food though. The cassoulet was from Aldi and was ok because I was hungy but wont buy it again, half way through it tasted burnt as I couldnt stir it properly. If me dog was there he would have had half lol..
Fell Wanderer it just adds a smoky flavour to the tuna mixed in with summat tomatoey Curryish it’s well tasty. If you tried it and said the idea was from me on a vid, would be well chuffed 😃😃👍. Ps you must have a brave Dog Lol.. ATVB Steve.
I've not tried the Kelly Kettle, they are a good because they run on twigs and branches. I have a minimal cooking setup and find that ok for boiling water
I think its soldier 95, its not an earlier issue jacket I do know that. Its shower proof cotton but not waterproof. I cant remember what I paid for it but would have been less than £20 on Ebay. I now have a DPM Goretex jacket which is better because its waterproof and I recommend getting one of those.
Fell Wanderer Thanks, I think you look good in it btw and I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing you in your dpm Goretex jacket in upcoming videos soon, keep up the good work 👍
I don't know what it means but have seen similar formations on other videos. Its very strange I dont know what to make of it all but when you start looking you will see some strange things in the woods, atb
Fell Wanderer hi buddy. We're I live they is a lane. They call it clay Lane. So the story goes it they are strange things happen there. I've been walking ta work for the past two weeks down it. They is an old farm house which goes back too the 16th century. I've only seen a small thing about three - four foot hight. As I said hello is there anyone there it was gone.?????. "but since then seen nothing. Which I'm sad to say. But in the dark your mind plays you up.
Heavy snow fall and wind can cause damage to the trees. That doesn't explain trees broken in a W or X shape?.. it might still be possible so I keep an open mind.
Deer fox's hair rabbits and the odd few moochers with the long dogs nowt else wore kid trees break due to the weather bud you no ya sell what it's like in a pine plantation dense thick planted for cash crops in tight rows to make them nice and straight now when the is a gale whipping thruw them the shake and bounce at the end like a cb areal when ya shake it.. Now hey divnt get is rang a would love if it was summit like your suggesting but ha way man it's all in the heed ya will end up in that big hospital in Morpeth. 😉take care bud Liam.
That is just wind fall and dead wood mate. Walk Through any pine forest in England it will look the same. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Not sure what you think has happend :/ nice vid though and love the hobo stove. Still gets a thums up from me. 👍🏻
Hi Damian, great video as usual.i also made one of those hobo stoves, they are great. Like the drone footage at the beginning, what sort of drone is it?
that is a man made forest and those trees are grown to be harvested on maturity, they require maintenance and blokes go in there to prune them, they drop the branches and they leave them where they fall. Wild animals also live there
fantastic mate,,kiss lol long time since i heard that,,,,my grandad used to say easy ology lol by the way I have to admit I have always been skeptical of hairy footed beings but i watched survivor man in USA about seeing big foot, and them tree breaks makes one wonder have we got them cos some of them breaks you have shown I cannot explain
Les Stroud is a successful and genuine person who doesn't need to lie for money and bring ridicule upon himself. I met Adam Davies who told me about the portal incident 1 year before going public when Dr Mathew Johnson released the audio recordings of the incident. Thats how I know this phenomenon is real when honest people see strange things thats cant easily be explained away
Harwood forest is open access for walking but you need permission from the land owner to wild camp. I never see rangers as I'm not looking for them and they arent looking for me I hope lol..
I would always say to you, seek permission before camping, no one has the right to wild camp without permission from the land owner but it's often tollerated in some locations so long as you leave no mess and cause a nuisance.
Alrreet how,am still busting to get out into the wilds,i do all my fell walking up the lakes Northumbrland and scotland,im based in cramlington so its not to bad,ive been meaning to get in touch i watched a vid from when you where up the wannie with your hobo fishing kit, well i got myate to make you one as hes just bought a new laythe, dunno how to upload a pic like
Thank you, I really appreciate that but I don't like accepting gifts TBH. In the past I've had stuff handed to me so couldn't really refuse. I make videos because I enjoy doing so and don't expect anything in return. The nice comments and channel support is enough. Thanks again, atb, Damian.
I love watching this fella, comes across really well, funny informative and good to watch. Keep these videos coming mate !!!
Why am addicted to your videos? I'll tell you why, cos I knew it makes sense! Thanks for sharing. Take care, Steve.
i love the sound of the wind in the trees, and the spooky but fun vibe of the video.
Love your el cheapo camps Damien. Makes a refreshing change from all the youtubers carrying thousands of £ of gear in with em.
Evening Damien, love watching these Harwood videos. Fantastic sounds in them and it travels far aswell. Thanks for sharing mate, ATB. Trev

I love listening to nite sounds in the forest . Awesome video as always.
Another nice video. Very relaxing to watch and share in your experience. TFS.
You are one extremely lucky man. The Yeti didn't get you and you got out alive!
Damian, I would love to see you investigate some spooky locations and take us there and tell the story and stay there. That would be awesome, although I know it would take time to research. But spooky and wild camp would be a great combination.
Fantastic video Damian ! Thanks
Great video. Love your investigations. Keep them coming..

Beautiful land is the UK as is most of Europe. We need to preserve these places.

Another great camp!
Excellent vid!
Very interesting, i wonder if the strange sounds were Bigfoot or the trees. Keep exploring and safe camping. good luck
Mate this is ace Im jealous well done
Great video again Damien, you should have a camp with the "Camp Gus" dafties, see who gets spooked first hahaha
Is this is a man made forest? looks like it. Those tree breaks are common as in the High Country Damen, we have the same all over mate. Man managed forests and breaks happen when harvesting lumbar. MOOSEDOWNUNDER yes it is a manmade forest but peoples have been reporting strange experiences in this forest over a long period of time certain areas can attract unusual activity this is a vast forest that is largely isolated you can reason either way as regards to the breaks but these odd type of breaks are recorded everywhere allover world incl glyphs circles and x s
wikka witchcraft and occultism often pre curse the ground ancient indian burial sites were also cursed in the columbia river valley heading up towards dawson city and creek has the highest suicide rate in usa and many missing persons reports or persons who have gone woods crazy or mad when sociologists investigated as to reason why many of the modern day homes were built over pre existing pre cursed territory or burial grounds
satanists often can set or hex an area of ground to curse the next person who comes along much like a spiritual ambush
the clergy bishops and deans can often testify to this as they are often targetted by existing covens as they go out to reconsecrate areas of land used for devil worship
several campers have run away for their lives in this area after hearing growls of a large animal nearby their camp and felt watched hunted by a beast that seemed intent on possibly killing them so thy ranaway at night 2am or just after setting up camp sparking off a rescue team search of area as kit was just left abandoned
the persons who the camp kit belonged too later confessed to police it was their kit and why they left it abandoned
as were embarrassed to admit it but also they were far to scared to return being lone females
so police understood that let them off returned them their kit
etc
there are many odd places that exist i have often felt the atmosphere change inexplicably or hackles go up on back of yer neck passing through some pretty remote non descript areas usually where there has been a ruin or previous habitation as in crofts of scotland or in deep woods felt as if you were being watched or followed by something yes this could be put down to edginess but not if your dog also reacts!!
to the threat
so if your not a believer in the occult or paranormal supernatural ufos or bigfoot or anything like that then you will prob just find a rational explanations but if you are a believer this type of subject can open up a rabbit hole as we now have walkers in usa canada elsewhere in world reporting changes to the atmosphere and bushes trees being shaken at them severely and time space continium type interdimensional portals opening up in form of a mirage or shimmer on the trail path just in front of them or to one sides of trail one guy reported a tremendous fear overcoming him just prior to its apearances on the trail he noticed a bush rustling shimmering and like a predator the movie type shimmer or quasi visible figure behind the bush he stood staring at it for over 35mins he decided to get his metal up and go forwards despite feeling very scared of it this optical illusion thing on trail just feet in front of him
he extended his walking stick and foot out into this shimmering mirage bush & unexplained optical thing and he said his foot and tip of his walking stick simply disapeared became invisible monentarily until he withdrew it again back out the portal
he then felt really freaked out by this and scarpered as he was all alone miles n miles out in the wilderness
others incl world champ mt bike riders have had similar exps except they felt overcome when their following mt bike riding mates caught up with them 25mins later the lead biker was in middles of stripping off all his clothes and folding them neatly into.a pile next to the trail on a freezing cold day at high alt in the snowline?
they had to virtually slap him out of his stupor he then reported seeing a bush shimmer and hear unusual sounds and energy wave hit his body like esp or ultrasound
he couldnt explain it?
they coming along saved the day as he was freezing cold and yet his first desire was to take all his kit off!
david paulides missing 411 cases report hundreds of similar missing cases
and thousands have disapeared and nobody yet has yet properly explained it
none of the deaths or cases have been attributed to ordinary means
so i feel that there is something elses going on
out in these remoter often unvisited areas that may have something to do with an as yet unknown phenomenon which we would find inexplicable even if it were not a mystery and explained to us this world is full of surprises and we simply do not yet know it all
so it pays to keep an open mind
about all of it
as if anything is unexplained then to me that constitutes a mystery
unless i have an categoric answer it will always remain a mystery and many of these missing 411 cases are left unexplained or accounted for!
MOOSEDOWNUNDER look up the dylatov pass incident in russias caucasus in the 50s or the nahanni valley of n west territories of canada
or some of the glyphs and tree breaks reported by bf well reknowned researchers! allover in australia a sas patrol were virtually ran out of their op position camp one night started late in evening by the ozzy versions of a bf bigfoot
a yowie
so they had stuff flung at them all night had to extricate cut off the mil exercise early get picked up at 6am as it spooked them so much and also american vietnam units report same thing in cambodia laos or vietnam
during the viet kong war
they had large rocks hurled at them and the beasts were not frightened of them howled at them despite the fact they were all heavily armed n carry guns
they showed no fear but just contempt towards them and anger at being in their area
these things could go back to the time of the living giants as mentioned in our pre history
or by the earliest n american indians whom all reported giants wandering the forests before they had even adopted their lands and first arrived these giants were in pre existences!!
to mankind!!
Rubbish! Tree breaks are not common or all man made !
excellent vid mate!...awesome wild camp.
reckon deer make sounds different over there...doesn't sound like any deer i ever heard...and i see and hear them a lot.
Lot of strange things happen in the forest that defy easy explanation...watch yer six amigo...woods
I made a stove similar to yours out of a toilet brush holder from home bargains it had holes all the way down like yours to put the tent pegs through it works grand.
Never seen those but I guess similar in size to the IKEA cuttlery holder, thanks for watching
Love this mate looks like a decent little place your going to there. Need to get my arse out there an start doing some stuff like this myself 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
@@Fell_Wanderer no problem my mate keep it up
Very interesting investigation of that woodland, very glad you resisted using the x files theme music, natural sounds so much better, ta for sharing.
Great video Damien ☺👍
Good crack enjoyed as always atb mate
Great Video Fell
Camping with whats available .. or el cheapo style as you call it cant beat it 👍🏻 top vid as usual .
Odd tree-breaks indeed, especially coupled with the foot print. I found that ladder on Google maps.
Wandering around Harwood forest for a long period of time, you find interesting stuff
I probably got you on a game cam as I recently had them set in that area - video to follow but I'm editing out all the walkers / dogs.
lots of strange happenings, good video
nice video . im a bit of a shitty arse when camping in the woods .. i stopped doing it years ago , too scared.. ha ha
Hi Damian, where do you park when you go there, not any sizeable towns that nearby ?
Depending on where I'm investigating, I'll park in one of the layby's on the Elsdon road at the southern end of the forest. I'll send you a map
Class!
I enjoy the yeti aspect actually despite it being silly..
Cool video, strange things happening to those trees.
an odd thing I've noticed with regard to trees is branches that make a complete u turn and point back to the trunk of the tree, it looks really unnatural but I guess that's nature for you, you get all sorts of oddities. another nice post, all the best mate.
Some breaks can't done by the wind, the thickness of the trees mean people haven't done it either. I've seen trees broken in the shape of a W, its a real mystery, thanks for watching
Nice one Damian
Aye that stew looked lush ,lots of methane lol,
lots of unexplained stuff ,deffo something going on and you seen my picture of that thing near Donkley wood ,unless somebody gives me a reasonable explanation to it I will believe it is something not human .
I dont think he has , he had a look through and must have deleted it .he has the one he posted on fb which might be a little pixelated .I,m gonna do an investigation because there is some good woods near there to camp ,I was up there in november and walked past that very spot and there was no natural landscape features what looked anything like it ,so what ever it was must have been mobile /passing through,so there is deffo something going on ATB Paul
ey up damien. greetings from north yorkshire. just subscribed to your channel. got some great informative vids. with the experiences ive had youve got some guts staying out there on your own they must like you or at least tolerate you, although im not sure which is more scary, whats wondering around that forest at night or that breakfast! keep up the good work.
the vocals sounded like beef cattle or cow to me they often seek shelter or bit of cheeky grazing in these forests if hill farms are abutting onto the forestry land they often poke their noses in go for a wander at night!!
trees also distort recorded sound muffle it with their trunks
so sound doesnt travel so easily gets distorted
by the tree trunks deadening of the original sound
Turn the bolts around so the wing nuts are inside to make it better for packing
#FindingBigfoot 😱
Keep up the good work 👍🏻
nice stove.
17:35 Pink is a social construct just saying ;) Love the homemade stoves.
nice vid, always enjoyed, but couldn't stop smiling
*sees broken tree*
*blames the yeti*
*sees another*
*blames aliens*
when did I blame aliens?
he replied! he fell for the troll. never reply to trolls.
cos i love ur channel and vids, i'll give a real reply: you didn't, my response was a joke.
nice vid btw, keep up the good work :)
Did you wake up with a fiver in your back pocket and a sore arse?
a tenner, its gone up with inflation
Fell Wanderer Here in USA spending my evening watching your great adventures. Love them! Can’t wait for your next one to wat He!
The yeti kept taking floppy’s so he had an operation and now..... it goes up with inflation!!!.
@@Fell_Wanderer not the only thing that's gone up ? atb
Fell Wanderer will have to watch when the wife is not around. Still scares her to this day.
Take care. Liam
Brilliant. ..
Cant believe you havent found that damn big foot....stay safe in the woods obvioulsy alot of trees coming down
Bigfoot is real and of a paranormal nature, I look forward to chilling with you over a few beers down Brockwell in March, atb mate
Look forward mate been too long
Paul I deleted your latest comment on Cresswell by mistake, sorry about that. The graffiti is a real shame but still a fascinating place to visit. Was great seeing you at Brockwell hope to get out with you again soon, atb mate
you know it makes sense !!
I bet it's a T-Rex, marking it's territory LOL
Hello Damien, pause at 17.52 What do you see to the right of the screen in line with your nose?
I could see a man with a hat then scrubbed back and was gone so I think its pareidolia where the mind can play tricks on what we see. I will look at higher quality footage as youtube highly compresses video
Brilliant wee video, hope the aliens didn't show up 👽👾👽
Damien where do you leave the car when you go there?
Wanting a walk and to do my first wild camp? But don’t know where is safe to leave the car?
Brilliant channel btw
The village of Harwood is probably the safest place to park but there are layby's along the gibbet road and I usually park there
Thanks for the comment, atb, Damian
Spot on, cheers looking to do my first one next weekend
Has anyone ever had a problem camping there? Plenty of no camping signs.
ATVB Steve.
Good video mate some strange breaks in them tree's not sure what I think done it but you never no see you at the meet on 24 March mate atb jimmy 😎😎
When you get into this and start looking, then you notice some strange things that cant be easily explained, see you soon, atb
Hello! Have you ever used a Kelly Kettle? The Kelly company has their own UA-cam Demo.
I've not tried the Kelly Kettle, they are a good because they run on twigs and branches. I have a minimal cooking setup and find that ok for boiling water
Damian what dpm jacket is that you’ve got on? Sas/para? and is it waterproof? +how much did you pay for it?
I think its soldier 95, its not an earlier issue jacket I do know that. Its shower proof cotton but not waterproof. I cant remember what I paid for it but would have been less than £20 on Ebay. I now have a DPM Goretex jacket which is better because its waterproof and I recommend getting one of those.
Fell Wanderer Thanks, I think you look good in it btw and I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing you in your dpm Goretex jacket in upcoming videos soon, keep up the good work 👍
4.20 the tree was folded back on itself due to hitting something as it fell (a bigger branch higher up)
Nice one mate. Why are the trees in a x?? I've been around some of the woods around an never seen anything like that. Always enjoy your videos. ATB
Hello Damian'
If that forest gets snow, that could account for broken & bent over trees, eh?
Heavy snow fall and wind can cause damage to the trees. That doesn't explain trees broken in a W or X shape?.. it might still be possible so I keep an open mind.
Wait a second... That intro reminds me of Last Stand Gamers. :)
maybe the broken branches are created by roaming bushcrafters making artificial dead standing for future firewood :)
I think it's people going out there breaking the trees and placing them in random formations to elicit the air of mystery.
Hi Damian, great video as usual.i also made one of those hobo stoves, they are great. Like the drone footage at the beginning, what sort of drone is it?
Its a Phantom 3 professional, thanks for your comment. Atb.
I bet MCQ Bushcraft is cackin' it, he's goona av tas oop is geem noo leek.
that is a man made forest and those trees are grown to be harvested on maturity, they require maintenance and blokes go in there to prune them, they drop the branches and they leave them where they fall. Wild animals also live there
It would be great if you put wild life night cameras up at night and food out to see what comes.
I have put up trail cameras in the past and have seen deer and foxes
fantastic mate,,kiss lol long time since i heard that,,,,my grandad used to say easy ology lol by the way I have to admit I have always been skeptical of hairy footed beings but i watched survivor man in USA about seeing big foot, and them tree breaks makes one wonder have we got them cos some of them breaks you have shown I cannot explain
Les Stroud is a successful and genuine person who doesn't need to lie for money and bring ridicule upon himself. I met Adam Davies who told me about the portal incident 1 year before going public when Dr Mathew Johnson released the audio recordings of the incident. Thats how I know this phenomenon is real when honest people see strange things thats cant easily be explained away
well one thing I recon I can say about you is I recon you are an honest man..it still makes me wonder what makes them breaks and structures.
I read that wild camping isnt allowed in this forest or is it a case of keep your head down and no one is bothered or is it supervised by wardens ?
Harwood forest is open access for walking but you need permission from the land owner to wild camp. I never see rangers as I'm not looking for them and they arent looking for me I hope lol..
I would always say to you, seek permission before camping, no one has the right to wild camp without permission from the land owner but it's often tollerated in some locations so long as you leave no mess and cause a nuisance.
@@Fell_Wanderer were would u seek permision to camp buddy. Great vid
I think I heard someone say "Paul is dead."
but ringo is still kicking.
hahahahaha
My dude!!! Would love to join up with you on wild camp!!!!
It does happen Damien mate there's absolutely nothing strange to find a single tree broken over half way up and again at the bottom
What a load of old tosh, but a good video.
ahh lad , , your in a softwood forest , , sheesh , , :-)
Those piney trees, being softwood tend to break easily. We have similar problems in our 171 acre forest.
