Glad i caught this video. Im running the three gear transmission with a 1200kv Fusion and 11t pinion on SCX axles and was thinking of switching to Capra axles but i definitely wouldn't have any wheel speed at all. Lol

Excellent thoughts about the Capra : you can add some gears up and you will have a great crawler. I almost forgot about all the fantastic companies that offer thousands and thousands of pieces and parts for your RC
I’ve actually run a 1200 in the setup and it was beyond slow. At full throttle it was in slow motion lol

The first qualifier up North was a great time, thanks for making the trip up!! Had a great time judging, filming, and running around on the rocks. Can’t wait to keep them going and see everyone out at the finals! I wish I could make it to yours this weekend, but I’ll be hosting another event at little Moab as well 😂 gotta give the people what they want!

Digging the new look. Hard to beat capra axels. Your drive shafts are saying feed me some oil lol. Try the belt drive. Super quiet.

Nice truck & nice terrain. That’s the beauty of RC you can do it by yourself for hours & also with groups buddies or at events. If you can make it to any RC events I highly recommend it. I went to my first Pro Line & man what a good vibe & overall event.

I was thinking about the IBEX,Sydney and the trail you and your friends did a few videos ago. The trails with some real cliffhanger obstacles .
I'm doing a similar build with my Element and Rock Pirates. I went with the new Creeper cab only body and rp sliders. They have well thought out products, imo.

I definitely want to give comps a try! So much to learn, still, but going to give it a shot. I will say, geting a lot out of your videos, really a great help! I would love to come down from Canada one day, do some wheeling in Utah! 👍
Can’t wait to get out to this comp series! My Capra build is getting close to being done! Got some stuff going on the weekends of both the first comps, but as long as 1 out of my 2 rigs are done I’ll be at all the rest! As long as I make it to the championship at least!

Tell me about the rear shock tower brace please. Also- I have a bone stock 10 II Raw Builders Kit(13 tooth pinion w/stock axle gearing currently) and was seriously considering the AXE 550R2 3300Kv combo. You mentioned that you would like more wheel speed and that combo should provide plenty of speed. I'm thinking if the 3300 on 3s is to fast I can always go with a smaller pinion or larger spur. Any input on the 3300Kv idea?

Hey I'm looking to get into crawling do you recomend a trx4?
The trx4 is a great trail truck, and needs some mods and upgrades to crawl well. I would recommend an Axial Capra if your wanting to get into crawling without spending to much on mods and upgrades. Can get it with 4ws too
I like my element ecto better than my trx4 for crawling. Out of the box the ecto does a lot better.
@King420man King420man I have an ecto and trx sport, both with 3800kv brushless motors, and I have broke more on the trx4 than the ecto. Plus the ecto climbs steeper and side hills better than the trx4. The only place the trx4 does better with is ground clearance due to the portals. I’m usually climbing the same type of terrain as this video, so I don’t always need portals.
Have tried all of them. And we could not be happier with the scx10ii and the element enduro chassis. I would choose either one of those two chassis.

Picked up some rock pirates rc stuff for my scx10ii cliffhanger build cause of your recommendations and seeing it in action. Love their stuff. I also got some desert lizard shocks just in black. You got any tips on set up? I got it sitting how I want but I feel like the drop into holes is a tad bit too slow for my liking
Speed of drop is oil. If it doesn’t drop its springs

Hey I actually have 2 questions.... in regards with this rig - what drive shafts are you running? standard axial wild boars? Also would it be possible to run Capra drive shafts? Also, what did you use as a support base for the Rock Pirates flat bed?
I have a Capra builder's kit that I think I'll raid and build the same as your rig....since I already have all the Rock Pirates parts on another rig :) Luving the content Logan !
How wide are the axles. I just put Laegendary 1/8 axles on my scx10. It really wide.

Setting end points to turn as far as the axle will allow
