It have the same sensor and processor as A119 Mini 2. Hope it gets 60fps in the future.
Footage looks extremely oversharpened to me, are there any adjustable picture settings?

Not yet. I've not received any new firmware to test.
@@RetroCarGuy530 seems it’s not just you, sample footage from other UA-camrs seems to have the same issue. I love the compact form factor of the VS1 and the fact it’s usb powered, but the image quality is definitely subpar compared to something like Blackvue’s new starvis 2 cameras.
Footage looks terrible. A119 V3 looks way better
Hey RetroCarGuy, I spoke with someone at Viofo and they said they've just released a firmware update for the VS1 which should fix the image quality. Have you been able to test this?
The latest public release for the VS1 is version v1.0_240105. That version is what I've been using since it was first given to me to test in early January 2024. I'm getting a production VS1 to test. When that arrives I'll see what firmware is installed.
How does this compare to the viofo wm1? Both being non screen dashcams
Would love a size comparison of them side by side, as i can't decide which is the smallest / or most discreet out of the two
The features differences are listed in the video. The biggest difference is the VS1 uses the newer Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensor vs the WM1 using the older Sony STARVIS IMX335 image sensor.

They're shaped a bit different, but the VS1 is is slightly smaller than the A119 Mini 2.
