- Harley Finkelstein is an entrepreneur, lawyer, and the President of Shopify. He founded his first company at age 17 while a student at McGill. Harley completed his law degree as well as his MBA at the University of Ottawa.
Harley was one of the “Dragons” on CBC’s Next Gen Den and starred on Discovery Channel’s I Quit. He received the Canadian Angel Investor of the Year Award, Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award, Fortune’s 40 Under 40, and was inducted into the Order of Ottawa.
From 2014 to 2017 Harley was on the Board of Directors of the C100, and from 2017 to 2020 he was on to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). He is currently on the Board of Directors of the National Retail Federation, and Operation Hope.
Harley recently co-founded Firebelly, a modern high-end tea brand, and created @bigshotpodcast , a project and podcast that archives the stories of the greatest Jewish entrepreneurs of the last century.

Antisemetism has given me heaps of energy I have walked around for days looking for it and hell I just cannot find it I have found police violence and stupid politicans and vegans but where the hell is this antisemetism. It must be extremly rare like a albino elephant oh well I will keep on looking I will be carrying a sign that states antisemetism wanted.
Was searching for latest from the great Norman Finkelstein, the foremost if not the last authority on Gaza when I stumbled upon this video. No idea who this guy is but Prof. Finkelstein is highly revered for his sense of justice and moral clarity in the face of persecution that literally caused him his career.
What's your point? Finkelstein publicly praised the October 7th massacre. Anyone who justifies what happened on October 7th lacks any sense of justice and moral clarity. It bothers me I had to read this comment while watching an inspiring interview with a person who is trying to make a positive impact to Jews and Non Jews like. Maybe try to learn a thing or two from this Great Harley Finkelstein and not from the "other guy" who encourages the Palestinians in self destructive disillusionment.
@@gavriellevy18 Let alone moral clarity, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Occupying power have no right to self defense. The occupied native population has every right to armed resistance. But certain aspects of the resistance should they violate the international law are prosecutable. Finkelstein was clear both in his sense of justice and moral clarity in that he pointed out when prosecuting the aspects that do not conform with international law, a certain level of mercy must be applied since we're talking about inmates of concentration camps that broke free from their Nazi wardens. The sheer barbaric brutality of the colonial settlers state makes sense, to be very honest, since their very existence hinge on the notion of eradicating the native indigenous population. Should the native prevail and the colonial settlers state become a post-aparth south Africa, any notion of an ethno state will cease to exist and the land will be governed once more by its native indigenous population.
The colonial settlers state is very different when compared to all its invading predecessors. Before, the invading forces will be absorbed by the native population. That's why the population of Palestine had changed their culture several times in the past from Canaanite, Babylonian, Persian, Jewish, Aramaic, Roman, Christian and Muslim (the list is not exhaustive). The colonial settlers state hailing from German nationalism, wants to create either an aparth state where the native are subjugated or just outright eradication of the native population completely such as we seen in north America.
