@@pedro3115Oasis shouldn't even be in the same conversation. These guys are leaps and bounds above their output. This entire album was incredible. They definitely are from that school. They have graduated with honors. The songwriting still holds up. Classic.
There are some facts about this. Atlantic records (remember them?) handled their presence in America, promptly lost any interest in Supergrass, and allowed the band to utterly disappear stateside.
With that Floyd Animals vibe into the stomp, just when you thought the melancholy was going to break you, they get you tapping your foot in joy..such a unique mix, genius really
@jonatherton he has a piezo pickup fitted to the guitar which simulates an acoustic sound that you can turn on and off with a switch on the guitar. The studio version is a real acoustic though. You can see him switch it off on the guitar right before the first chorus.
Twas lucky enough to see them @ the Coventry Godiva Festival in 2021. Best £5 early bird ticket Ive ever bought other than the £2.50 back in 79 to see Gary Numan ! 🩵😊
@@steventaylor6212 I saw them in 2005 and can't remember anything. Then in London back in March for two gigs. Hopefully they will be able to carry on next year but who knows.
when you look back over the years, it becomes clear: this is one of the best songs ever written.
And the best british band of the 90s. Better than Oasis. But so underrated. The school of The Beatles and The Who in the 90s

Yes
Times like these will be back soon… I hope
Incredible production in the album version. What a front man
The 90's ! Supergrass where up against... Oasis, shed 7 , stone roses , etc etc etc...good times
Wow. I've just discovered this song. Awesome. I love the acoustic part, it's actually not that easy strumming pattern as it seems.
Check out 'Dogs' by Pink Floyd.
Always thought it was an acoustic but seems he plays it on a 335. Love the chords either way. Talented blokes to be sure.

God damn I miss the 90s so much. What a time it was to be alive
Absolutely perfect 👌
What a great band, love em I really do x
All of them amazing musicians on their own, but this is something else when they play together. Pure quality.
Such a brilliant song musically ❤
Fantastic Live band! Less than 2 weeks, I get to see them Live again!
That’s a great performance
What a performance!!
god damn they are a great band!!
Epic song!!! I remember them playing at the Lowlands festival. Grass was flying through the air during the concert. Legen... wait for it.... dairy ;-)

Listen guys, not everything can be underrated.
This can.
Great Song
Saw this live at Godiva last night and it was amazing. So underrated unfortunately
I’ll never forget the first time I heard this song….. was 16 years old at a party with a bunch of older cats and this music video came on….
Voice !!!!!!👌🏻
such an amazing song, massively underrated
This was on a Q magazine compilation CD along with Driftwood and some other great songs.
That lad has powerful pipes.
Still does

Damn haven’t heard this along in years. 👏🏻 intro def reminds me of Dogs by Pink Floyd.
Love supergrass best alternative band of the 90s

GREAT
great song....When musicians could express themselves...
Better than anything else that came out of Britpop - hands down.
SUPERGRASS👏👏👏👏
Gotta keep movin...
Good carnts ay
I hope that they had a good Australian tour and that they can work out their issues. They have been much missed.
It's been postponed like the rest of the tour until next year, hopefully. London were the last gigs.
@@storiesue1699 I saw them back 2009 when they were opening for The Foo Fighters. Good performance.

Pigs on the wing? Pink floyd
No, more dogs.
I truly believe Danny Goffey is the reincarnation of Keith Moon... got the same moves, same energy
Can't be exactly true as Keith Moon died 4 years after Danny was born.
TROGLODYTES
They should of been as big as Oasis…. Considering Oasis is my favorite band
Usually the worse the teeth the better the music with british bands.
Helps the vocal if air can pass through gaps in the teeth🦷
First?
Brillant band ❤
