The new testament is as much a history book as lord of the rings, it was put together in the 4th century by the catholic church from a collection of lose fantasy pamphlets without any substancial study of its origins and or authenticity. Analyzing its content for historic value is like analyzing lord of he rings for historic value.
We have Pau,l believed by most to be writing fifteen or twenty years after the crucifixion. He was accepted as a latter day apostle. He knows nothing of the Gospel stories so these were not stories that James and the apostles were promoting. Then we have our Gospels discovered in 185 by Ireneaus. By this time there were around 100 other Gospels, Acts and scriptures that Christians were guided by. But by mistake the Gospels were falsely believed to have been written by the apostles. When in the fourth century the Roman Empire imposed our Gospels upon all Christians and all Romans this became Christianity. It took until the twelfth century for scholars to realize that as the Gospels were written in scholarly Greek and they could not have been fishermen and labourers. But by then everyone was Christian and believed these particular scriptures were the word of God. So they speculated wildly as to when they were composed seeking a time close to the events of the Gospels they still could not question. We know that the earliest Christians were Gnostics who like Marcion believed that God the father was the Demiurge evil creator of an abominable creation. For them Christ could not actually incarnate in our cursed world and could only influence us through a magical pseudo realm where symbolic stories would lead to our escape from the archons in the hellish realm beneath the moon. This is likely why James and the apostles told no tales of Jesus on earth to Paul. They had none. An explosion of second century Christian scripture marks the birth of this religion. As the encyclopedia Britannica informs us at that time half of all Christians were Gnostics. This is when our Gospels were written among many. Most were consigned to the flames And of course the evil book burners are back still too terrified to search for truth.
@@timoloef Most scholars say that Paul was only interested in the transcendent Christ not Jesus on earth. But it is strange to have no interest in the most important.event in creation. But he ignores it and calls Christ the secret long held but now revealed by him (Paul). While one might think Jesus revealed himself not Paul. Anyhow it's in numerous books. What Paul doesn't say is easily passed over. You probably just Google "Paul's knowledge of Jesus's life" Big topic obviously.

Spiderman is more historic than the new testament
Jesus is God and it’s sad many refuse to accept that
If you believed God's word and were a born again Christian you would know
