The Fact that the Rizzzz meter for them both was so high the entire movie I’m like is this a movie about a equality or a love story because I am confused
Honestly while the movie leaves it more open-ended and I've met people who think they are platonic, unfortunately they have so much chemistry like you said that them being a couple is inevitable. It's a similar situation with Marlin and Dory from Finding Nemo. They try to be platonic but the writing around them and the voice actors chosen for them they end up having much better chemistry than other animated couples who were supposed to be romantic.
Honestly there is truth to what you're saying. I've already loved them when I was little and shipped them due to their immense chemistry but now I'm more older I just see there's more to just shipping them romantically but still we can't deny the chemistry
