The Uncanny Valley effect doesn't apply to old Disney cartoons because they went out of their way to extra soften their human characters. We believe Belle, Snow White, and Cinderella are human easily but that is not what a person looks like.
I'm really enjoying your tutorials here. It looks like a lot of the people commenting here feel that different kinds of facial expressions are good in anime art. I agree. The first was more comical, the second more serious.
honestly these help so much, i have a disorder unable to make me picture things the way most see them, so just dumbing them down and listening to how to do it helps my art skills a lot

When you realize that actually studying the mouth shape relative to the head figure is a better way to learn how to draw the mouth rather than copying another form of mouth and then wondering why it doesn't work on every form of drawing 😭
I appreciate, but doesn't that change the perspective of the whole face. In first drawing the eyes will look directly to the front and in second it will look front but with a tilt in the head or down or up depending on the drawing. Im just curious im new to art will appreciate if u can suggest it.
The perspective is all wonky now tho. You shouldn't be able to see the bottom row of teeth at that angle from that angle... The bottom row should look pretty much the same as the top one. This isn't good advice.

Just show your personal preference about how to draw something. To be an artist doesn't mean necessarily to do realistic stuff or drawing just in one specific way.. I seriously hate gatekeeping artists. So many say things like “you’re doing it wrong” or “wrong color” or “do my way of art because it’s better than yours” like seriously do yall not get art at all?! It's not a style, it's bad perspective and it looks off. If you're using that as a style deliberately then you are probably doing it to make your audience feel like something is off, in which case this video obviously doesn't apply to you. You don't have to do it the way he did, but it's an insight into how simple changes can lead to more 3 dimensional drawings.
I hate to be that guy (nah I love it) but that still don’t work. You’re looking from a bottom up perspective, so looking down into the jaw doesn’t make too much sense. Now if this were a top to bottom perspective then I stand corrected
