Hey Nick your problem with the Gators is most likely that you do not have a tension wire running on the bottom of your fence so they can just push their way straight under the fence
This should be an easy fix. It appears you are doing very well financially ( the house is huge ) . You should have no problem building a brand new predator proof gate.
When I was about 12 years old my friend and I caught an 18" alligator in a swamp in south Georgia. We took it to the lake of the local skating rink and turned it loose. It stayed there till it was about 5 feet long and people started complaining. No one ever knew how it got there
Fix a finer metal mesh on the exterior of the fence that they can't get their 'digits' in, or electrify it with a animal safe shocking device similar to those used for stopping livestock from breaking/jumpimg fences.
If they’ve climbed the fence or went under build a high voltage ⚡️ fence of electricity on the property outside of your other fence in that way it’ll keep the gators away and at bay so they don’t invade your property
I know alligators can climb, but the bottom of the fence looks loose enough that an alligator would be able to push its way under the fence. You might need to spike down the fence between posts. It's crazy that they ended up in your pond either way! 🙂🐊🐊
That turtle is a female the males have a concaved underbelly reason for that is so they can mate easier and females have a flat, no concave underbelly 😂 so that boy you were talking to is actually a female 😅
Why not keep ur ducks and secure the fence more? Wouldn't that be the best idea in the long run? Cause a gator can see ur dog and still climb the fence. Plus a gator can climb the fence and eat ur red tails once they're bigger.. So I'd say just focus on securing the fence
Only problem with those gators is You did not have a family cookout with them on the menu son . To a Cajun that was a free home fresh food delivery walking up to the grille ! Coo Yah ! Les cocodrie est deliceaux !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your videos and how you help your animals and the new animals that come in. I was wondering how do you clean a turtles shell? Especially with all that algee....
All you need to do is use the barded wire fences pieces but instead of barbed wire you just use regular wire! This will help prevent alligators from climbing over your fence!
Nick 🎥🎞️🧠👌 Hope you find a solution that could help you keep the ducks, either way, whatever you decide thanks for sharing with us all this that you do that is amazing i am enjoying a lot your videos, also appreciate all the work you do behind each video to bring us quality informational and entertaining content 🧠 Greetings from mexico 🇲🇽✋
Your doing the right thing!!!! Most ppl would be selfish and not want to get rid of there father family it's hard but to do the right thing g take love and strength!! ❤
Instead of getting rid of ducks. Common sense for people that love their animals would be prevention. Example: brick wall or fence. Nicks immediate answer is to get rid of the ducks. Im starting to question Nicks love for his animals
That is scary having gators right in the backyard. Imagine families with little kids running around. I guess they'd stick to the covered pools. Yikes. It's too bad the ducks have to go. Boo. But, safer for everyone. Sorry to hear it but it's the right choice.
I wonder if you could put some other kind of fencing along the back where they are coming in from the channel. Maybe even an electric fence or something?
exactly, gators are displaced by other bigger gators, they are expelled from their territories and forced to allocate to new bodies of water, including ponds and pools
I would think they came through the gate, pushing through the corner where it can flex on the hinges, maybe adding securement at top and bottom to prevent flexing would help also. The tension wire along the bottom, as another suggested, would be a good idea also. As far as coming over the top, what if you added a 45° angle with fencing, or a half circle with fencing along the top facing towards the outside could prevent them from climbing over the fence as it would put them in a position where they couldn't climb over. Just a few suggestions.
Hi from Denmark. I would love to see some footage of heterandria formosa aka least killifish and where they live. It probably sounds boring, but I build (or at least tried to) a biotope for my least killifish aka heterandria formosa, and I know they come from densely vegetated ditches, backwater pools and ponds etc in Florida and other southern US states like Georgia, South/North Carolina, Louisiana and Texas I believe. Here in Denmark they are pretty hard to find in LFS and in the aquarium hobby. It’s hard to find pictures or videos of heterandria formosa habitats and that why I like to see some. I absolutely love that little fish
Thank you for helping that poor turtle!

👍
An easy fix, drill holes in base of the fence post and weave cable or wire thru bottom of fence down the entire length.
Just get a solid metal fence with a predator proof concrete channel at the bottom...problem solved forever.
This was my argument too. Either too cheap or doesn’t care about his animals
Maybe
thank you for helping the turtle

i may have done this once or twice 🤣
one got probably 4 foot then ate a dog and got taken out the lake☠💀
You do realise that alligators run too about 8 miles per hour
@@faminailyas3952 I do now but when you're 12 and stupid you don't. LOL
You should look into setting up some security cameras along the fence lines to look out for wildlife and potential predators
It would be better to have an overhang on the fence the canal side
Hi nick the crocs will eat the fish
Put a electric line around your fence and turn that thing all the way up
Huge large mouth bass ! Make it a bass trophy 🏆 pond
Maybe the alligators didn’t come over the fence maybe they came from underground
Fix a finer metal mesh on the exterior of the fence that they can't get their 'digits' in, or electrify it with a animal safe shocking device similar to those used for stopping livestock from breaking/jumpimg fences.
How do alligators clarify princess boo?
maybe make a electric fence behind the first fence?
Yesss an answer
What state were y'all in for the video
Gators climb very well
They flew over.
Take them to Paul, he needs some more ducks.
I think make a bigger fence .. or add spikes to the top of the fence
At this point, a taller fence is just the best option..!
What about some sort of electric fence?
Bro- that poor turtle 😢
the crock they do that at my house😅
If they’ve climbed the fence or went under build a high voltage ⚡️ fence of electricity on the property outside of your other fence in that way it’ll keep the gators away and at bay so they don’t invade your property
Put vinyl on the outside of the fence so they can’t climb up.
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇬🇾🇬🇾👍👍
The gators will eat your fish too. Ultimately you should build a different type of fence instead of getting rid of your pets.
Yea but I think he mentioned how the gators come into the pond because they see the ducks
You should get a electric fence
I know alligators can climb, but the bottom of the fence looks loose enough that an alligator would be able to push its way under the fence. You might need to spike down the fence between posts. It's crazy that they ended up in your pond either way! 🙂🐊🐊
Lol. Nick probably let them in for an excuse to make a video. Dude has no fresh ideas
I love your videos
Hi
This sounds bad but I was just waiting for the third alligator to just leap out of the water and eat the turtle
Gators will eat anything the can get a hold of
Tsiburia

God bless you for helping that creature out Nick
very sad to just give up on your amazing ducks 🦆 because of a small problem. I’m so confused why he didn’t build fence .

Great video i think you should build stornge fance and heigher

I FREAKING LOVE YOUR ANIMAL VIDEOS❤
Why don’t you take them to the pc farm
Liked the video Nick

You just infected our pond with leeches, you can't see their eggs
That’s an awesome looking property, no wonder the alligators 🐊 want to visit. Great video as always 👍💯🖖
Good work on helping out that turtle, 👍 Also, I agree with MrBarbarian’s comment. All the best 🍻
Hey Nick I like how you say see yah at the end of all your videos
Awesome saving that turtle thanks for sharing!
I’m glad you seen that big turtle, he needed your help with all those leeches, I know he felt better
We love you Nick
Isn’t it an option to use stone electric fence on the top
Love the BlackTipH hat, hope Josh gets well soon. I love both of yall's channels.
Only problem with those gators is You did not have a family cookout with them on the menu son . To a Cajun that was a free home fresh food delivery walking up to the grille ! Coo Yah ! Les cocodrie est deliceaux !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like to see a bass

Arrowanas
Leeches
Give those ducks to paul
Seems you haven't watched Paul video he gave away all he's ducks
Why not run a hot wire along the top of your fence? Or is that not allowed in Florida
You should give ur ducks to Paul
I just wond bab to bab and it is busin
Me to.
Yes Nick, all your ducks to the PC farm, great video all the best from the UK
Big giant 😂

Call crocodile Kyle!!!
Can you pet a Bird too?
Man that sucks you have to get rid of your ducks, but I do understand BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
You should give them to Paul
I’m thinking it went under the fence. Where you grabbed the turtle, it looks like it could possibly bend enough to let the gators through.
I wonder if you could put some other kind of fencing along the back where they are coming in from the channel. Maybe even an electric fence or something?
F
You should give the ducks to pual
Doesn’t matter the gators gonna make their way in your pond ducks or not

You better not give them to Paul lol, no hate to Paul but those ducks need a safe space. Her, it's a her
Don't think Paul is keeping ducks atm he just gave away all he's ducks to veezy kids
You should do a under water swimming video to show all the fish and turtles in the pond
😂
Imagine he dives into pond and comes face to face with croc 🐊 🤣
@@shreyas3157 😂 he's so scared that he's giving up he's ducks which he raised from eggs imagine diving in the pond? 😂
You should build a wall around the fence instead getting rid of them
You could get a bigger fence

Watch Bass Fishing Productions. He's always catching Killifish in the canals.
@@terribryant9996 thanks. I’ll look into his videos😁
Pauls getting more ducks?! is that what I heard lol
