SWFL Eagles ~ E15 & E16 Spending One Last Morning Together! 💕💕 E16 Chases A Duck! 8.8.20

- This is coverage from the morning prior to E16's soaring off the attic. It may be the last time we see them together at the pond & nest if E16 did indeed leave on his journey today. It begins with E15 asleep all tucked in on the veranda - then the foot comes out to dangle lol
E15 is on the veranda when E16 flies into the nest looked for scraps and is mantling. E15 will lunge at E16 causing E16 to fly to the OCT. E15 follows and lands above E16, They both take off for the pond and perch on the post. A Muscovy duck flies over the water & lands on the grass and E16 sees it and gives chase! E16 will hang out by the pond before flying back to the pylon. Beautiful closeups of the E's together!! E16 will fly off and land on the CSPS while E15 remained on the post. Such beautiful memories of our pond babies this season! Thank you for watching!

We’re all sad we might not see E16 again, but I can accept it knowing that these are magical miracle babies- for me, that makes it easier to accept. Still hard, but much easier. That last section of the video where the E’s are perched on the poles so majestically (and adorably!) - if you were take a picture of that scene and go back in time and show it to everybody just before anybody knew Harriet would lay eggs again, everybody would be so happy knowing everything would work out, so I just think that it’s so great that everything has worked out so perfectly, from being miracle babies in the first place to surviving the owls coming and knocking them off the tree while they slept completely unscathed! It makes it a lot easier to accept them leaving and if I do feel myself get sad, I’m just going to remind myself to only be happy about how well everything went 😊

That is how I feel - I am smiling for our miracle babies this season and I cried over losing our beautiful E14. If we did not lose E14 we would not have an E15 and E16 so we are doubly blessed!!
I had been thinking its e16 who will be the first to go on a journey,he'sbeen always a survivor since the beggining ascerting himself grabbing those bites of food from mom
This has been and will always be the most sad part of watching the offspring of this couple. We get attached and even though we know the final flight will come, we hang on to those final last moments, hoping for more. Prayers for a safe journey for both babies... Love always...
Would have loved seeing them go off together, but it's not their way.....It has been a beautiful season with these 2 miracle babies! Loved every minute of it even when I wanted to bonk E15 for bonking E16! Thank you for all your work bringing us great clips of their lives. It's so very much appreciated Lady Hawk!

Beauitful E15 &E16 Harritt and M15 really are amazing parents... To have these two babies after a horribly death of E14 and then have E15 and E16 are a blessing to watch from eggs to little ones , to young adults finding independents with the help of mom and dad ..E16 will be missed I love this family so much .. Fly high sweet E16 may you find love like mom and dad's.. 💝

With all the unfortunate events around the World thus far in 2020, watching this fantastic family of Eagles in Southwest Florida has kept me thinking positive & love in my heart. What I find especially interesting is the length of time E15 & E16 have stayed around the nest learning life skills, with mom & dad. I've learned so much the past month watching every day. In other nests, once the babies fledged, they were usually gone within a week. So very thankful Lady Hawk for your wonderful channel.

How cute to watch them both at the pond together. As they stare at the water, it would be nice for them to figure out how to catch a fish. This may very well be the last time we see them together. I watched the soaring video, E16 may have ventured to other places. It's been a joy watching these 2 grow up together, learn from each other and grow into such beautiful juvies. The thought of the E's leaving is very Bittersweet - they seem like Special Eagles - maybe because of everything that happened at SW FL this year :( :)
For those of us at home, our wings clipped; the beauty of E16"s need to take flight, is a most beautiful and epic metaphor.
What a joyful miracle E15 &E16 turned out to be they are a precious gift. Love the way they made us laugh. I have no doubt they are ready to concor their future as eagles.
These videos of the fledglings on the ground and flying here and there have been so informative for me. I can't thank you all enough, Lady Hawk, and the Priitchett's for giving us this glimpse into Eagle life. And for all the others that are involved behind the scenes, THANK YOU too! ... I noticed that the pivotal point with E16 was when E15 pushed him off the nest on Friday. E16 made a lot of effort to exit his shell, but made amazing progress, assisted by a wonderful mom and dad. E15 had a special relationship that we shall never forget. I recall dusks watching for mom and dad side by side, the times at the pond, or the long glances. The past feww night this week we have seen the entire family together in the nest bonding. I watched and took many screenshots along the way, but the memories of this miracle reclutch are indeed in my heart. It is always bitter sweet as we say our farewell, but mom and dad do this to create other legacy makers. Fly free and soar E16, we love you. Thank you so much Lady Hawk.
I thought E16 would go 1st. Even though he was behind E15 , he seemed to progress faster the last couple of weeks. Happy trails E16.
Every child must spread their wings and fly off to another home but these two are extra special this year I hate to see them go. E16 we love you as if you were our own.

GE Lady Hawk - Sweet-E16 has left us and left us with a heavy heart watching this last footage of them together. 16 was the fighter from day 1 who we all cheered on to make it. He did indeed make it and he clearly felt this was his time to go on this last day. The mantling 16 displayed here on that last morning and then E15 chasing him off the nest could've contributed in some way to him deciding to leave that morning. I love their final pond cam footage together, heartfelt to see them perch together and it's just so sad this is actually the last footage. My first season was E's 10&11. I was hooked. I learned so much from Lady Hawk and the rest of the fans of the live camera teams. Each season is different from the previous one. I watch all the Florida cams, Big Bear, Decorah, a Georgia one, and a couple of the Channel Island cams. Each family has it's own dynamics. 🦅❤🦅

As always we are not ready for them to go, it all happens too quickly for us. This was truly a miracle family, we were all astonished when Harriet laid another clutch of eggs. Suddenly we had another family of eaglets to watch grow up, and E15 and E16 did not disappoint, they had all the spirit and character of growing eaglets. Now that is what out babies are, the magnificent fierce and wild Bald Eagle. Have wonderful lives E15 and E16.

Beautiful footage of E15 & E16 together! Lol...maybe E15 is and has been nudging E16 to go first! E16 seems ready to soar, feeling that freedom in the sky, and ready (or preparing) for the journey and adventures that await E16. While E15 seems more attached to the nest home and it's glorious surroundings (at moment), including growing up next to a Church, pond nearby, and lots of trees with branches, etc., not in a hurry but will leave at the right time when E15 is ready. If E16 hasn't fully left the area, be wonderful to see E16 a little longer.
Simba at Big Bear was reportedly flying out further and further while he was training with parents, Shadow & Jackie, and then not too long after, left the area. Seems E16 is on track for the same.
I have really enjoyed watching this season from the first hatch with the sadness of losing E14 to the happiness and joy of the second hatch with the two little bobbleheads E15 and E16! Thank you Lady Hawk, Dick Pritchett, and all the people who are involved with providing this safe haven for Harriet and M15 and their family, and for sharing this experience to all who care! Good Luck and have a great, safe life out there E15 and E16!

Oh my gosh, how perfect that you captured their final moments together! I finally just watched
E16's departure video & it made me a little teary-eyed but this one gave me tears accompanied
by goosebumps!! How magical was this? You did it again LH! How beautiful to have their final
moments together on video? I caught their final moments together at the pond that morning,
but the scaps do not do them justice, like this video does! :-) That was indeed a magical moment
in time & now we'll be able to watch it over & over again, thanks to you!! {{HUGS}}
Whoa, I can't hardly type this comment for the tears---this season captured my heart as it did so
many others, and in some ways for me personally more so than other seasons if that's possible.
My sister kept me up to date on the 2nd clutch until I was ready to view the nest full-time again.
She talked about every LadyHawk video (smile) even if I chose not to watch them. This was her
first season & what a time it's been for her! E14's passing was difficult enough for me to witness
but I was worried for her since she was still in the infant stages of grieving the loss of her precious
daughter. Apparently it didn't cause her too much added sadness but instead, she managed to
resume viewing during the incubation of the new clutch, and soon after, the new miracle eaglets
without delay. :-)
God Bless E14, E15 & E16 and of course H & M. I pray that E16 is out there stealing prey & flying
with it, as we witnessed s/he is capable of doing, and is out their thriving with a big fat crop!!! :-)
Lastly & certainly not least, thank you for your dedication to capture all the memorable footage
much of which we may not otherwise get to see. I cannot tell you enough how very grateful I am
for each & every video, although I may not always comment on each of them. God Bless you on

I guess it was a sign that they were both ready to move on.
