I actually hope it is, odds are the game roster will be massive by the time all is said and done with DLC and Sandland is one of Toriyama's favorite little things he's ever done so it'd be a great way to honor him. Also I think there may be a rights issue with Arale and Dr Slump characters being used for crossovers at the moment so if we can't have her Beelzebub is a great alt

He is the perfect tribute, the perfect character to generate hype, and the perfect character to be brought into the game since he would be extremely unique. And yes it did say a character who was never playable in the previous games that does mean he has a chance, that doesn’t cross out other characters like 21 too, but still Toribot fits more.

Unfortunately we can pretty much rule out movie, gt or otherwise non cannon characters. The games roster is HARD limited to just the anime cannon and the two official movies. My best guesses are: ui goku, blue vegito, paragus (this makes the most sense).

One thing about the pre-order character is that they likely don’t have any transformations coming with them. Remember, this game treats base forms and transformations as separate characters, so unless the secret preorder character is literally the only exception so far, I don’t think it’d be anybody who’d need multiple forms to represent properly. So no Android 21 (lab coat + Majin), no GT Gogeta (GT Goku + Vegeta + their transformations + Gogeta), no Shallot (base plus pretty much every SSJ transformation), _maybe_ Beast Gohan (could be stapled to Buu Saga or DBS Gohan, if DBS Gohan is in base game already), but my personal prediction is Ultra Ego Vegeta. We already saw from the demos that DBS Vegeta has some manga-only moves, and he has a free slot in his transformation menu, so I could see Ultra Ego being stapled onto him if you get the preorder.

I think the Gold Card with 3 sparks above might be a hint tbh, 3 sparks could mean 3 different forms(Transformations) for that character? Just my thoughts cause why would they have 3 sparks above a gold card if it’s supposed to be a “Single Character”? Toribot since we’re not against weird things in this series like Spike and Arale. He’d be perfect. That or it’s gonna be Daima goku so they have a kid goku model that they can do asset flips on for dlc!. We’ll have kid Goku with a tail and a stick that turns into a monkey . A kid goku with no tail and a stick that turns into a super Saiyan and possibly other forms. And a kid goku with a tail that turns super Saiyan no stick, and can turn into A GROWN MAN.

Android 21 is a good pick. SSJ4 Gogeta is possible, but he would be a big selling point for GT DLC. Also it would be weird having him without the rest of the forms to fuse into him. Beast Gohan would sell a DLC by himself. I think Cell Max would be a safer bet if we're taking a character from Super Hero. I would love Granola/Morro too but they have never even been animated so very doubtful. My off the wall pick is Zeno the Omni King. He doesn't get defeated, he just pretends to lose while laughing. The next trailer is going to solidify a lot of predictions. Because what is left from Buu saga is so little I think it's a good chance to have otherworld tournament/movie characters.

It' probs Beezelbub or someone else. Either way it'll be a character that'll only take up one slot, so it's definately not a transforming character.
