    Thank you very much, Eric, for sharing your EMT video with us.
    PS : Being in Japan I will stop being on a diet. Time? I don’t know yet.
    PS2: Will you go to the place at the beach with Andy and Tomoko in Summer again? Sorry for forgetting the place‘s name.

    I still give you a 5 out of 6 for your attempt at the octopus balls. I’m sure the chefs didn’t get hired at their first job because of their excellent skills at octopus balls. Great job Eric. With no help either. And you were overcome with smoke inhalation! :)

    Long time watcher here. Thanks for doing restaurant videos. I was never into the whole vending machine thing, though adding your son has been internet gold! I get ideas to cook Japanese food from videos like this. I've made Gyudon at least 20 times in the last few months. Also, I think I went to school with you. We're you ever in Washington?

    I make Aebleskiver from time to time. They are the same little round pancake things. They can be sweet or savory. They are NOT easy to get right. Even after making them many times, the first couple are usually a disaster. So, don't be too hard on yourself. ❤

    • @restaurantman
      @restaurantman 5 місяців тому +2

      The small appetizer called "Otoshi" (also known as “Tsukidashi” in the western Kansai region) functions as a cover charge for bars and restaurants that serve alcohol. It is a way for an establishment to recover the costs of customers occupying space at a bar or izakaya for an extended period of time. It is a widely accepted practice and is written into Japanese law.
