The one sad things I’ve noticed is how Pakistanis are generally friendly and positive about India or Indians. Sadly the common person in India seems to have very negative perceptions about Pakistan.
I think it says a lot about how the Indian media machine portrays the average Pakistani.
True. Average Pakistani is friendly toward Indians. But the average Indian is full of hatred toward Pakistanis. Met few Indians abroad. All were so rude to me when I told them I'm from Pak. Initially, I used to like indian ppl b/c we have lots of similarities but now I avoid them. I don't want negativity.
one even called me ‘Muli’ I was shocked & disgusted. Never in my entire life have I experienced such discrimination from any other Nation.

One of the tastiest "cholay" of LAHORE, GHULAM RASOOL neela gumbad Anarkali.
I was with a Lahori friend in the supermarket here in Australia when he was chatting with a Punjabi from India. They were speaking the same language and understood each other perfectly.
Punjabis get along extremely well in foreign countries. In fact I was told indian punjabis feel closer to pakistani punjabis rather than other indians.
@@lolololllll I get along well with them too. And I'm not Indian or Pakistani.
@@lolololllll that’s not true. Indian punjabis are 50% sikhs and 50% Hindus. the Muslims and Sikhs are the one that feels connected with each other for their hatred for Hindus and Khalistani agenda . however we punjabi Hindus always put India first and hates Khalistanis and jihadis.
@@lolololllll it’s because it’s the same culture. You gotta remember india has so many different cultures and languages. Indian Punjabi is just one of them. Looks like some good food! when you first introduced Pakistani food to the channel such as haleem, i went out to try it for myself and was amazed on how delicious it was
finding good authentic Pakistani food in England is very difficult, problem is restaurants are run by businessmen not people who have been cooking for generations. good ones are few and far in between. if you can locate a catering service (who supply weddings funerals etc), they have a limited menu but the rice and curries are usually spot on, some of them will do smaller orders, but a massive curry pot and a massive wedding rice pot is about £60-£80 per pot, and will feed 70-80 people at least. if you're having guests around 1 pot rice, 1 pot curry, 100 Sheesh kebabs, 100 chicken wings probably total about 200-250£. and you will have tonnes of food left which will keep for a few days in the fridge, or even freeze it.
Karl: "Sometimes I just want vegetarian food, you know what I mean?"
Pakistani guy: "No."

Pathans are not of Afghan descent. They are the largest (16 million) of Afghanistan’s ethnic groups, but there is a much larger number of Pathans (37 million) indigenous to Pakistan’s KP and Balocistan provinces, and they constitute the second largest segment of Pakistan’s 225 million population, after Punjabis. Please correct your screen comment.
Was there Pakistan even 100 year's back? It was carved out of Afghan, Baloch and Indian regions...
Actually punjaabee and Pathaan are different..kpk balochistan are part of afghanistan before sikh and british won afghan territories..
@@ango586 but when you say afghan, it means present day afghanistan. otherwise, every ethnicity should be described by their origins. pathans have been living in greater numbers in what is now pakistan than in afghanistan for millennia.
Actually Afghan is another term for Pashtuns
So yes It is Afghan
@@jamilmasud368 But those Areas used to be Afghanistan And by Percentage wise Afghanistan have largest Pashtun Percentage and by Meaning Afghanistan Itself means Land of Afghans or Land of Pashtuns
There is not much vegetarian street food in Pakistan. I wish for it too. Veggie are mostly cooked at home or are available in much nicer restaurants with alot of options, Because when people go outside to eat they want something much nicer and fuller. They get fed up from lentils and veggies cooked at home 🙂
There is - dahi bhalay, gol gappy, ladoo peethi, samosa, pakoray, chana chaat etc are street foods and found in every nook n corner of pakistan.
@@kasturik2294 😁 I know these are the options but these are it... If you travel you would mostly find both options available equally. 🙂. I don't eat much meat so I notice this. In northern areas there are several more options but in cities like Lahore and Karachi mostly all are meat lovers 😊
One thing I have noticed in a lot of videos is that an average Pakistani when asked about indians has always positive things to say. On the contrary, a lot of average indians will only have bad perceptions about average pakistanis. Maybe it has something to do with the indian media or the ultra nationalist right wing indian government but I hope the things change.
They won't.
Yeah we are ugly people.
Don't watch us
Very true bro we don't hate India we love India but India news channel and media show us as a terrorist.we are not actually a terrorist. idk why there media hating us and showing us as a bad :(
Indian media is really corrupt and mostly portray anti Muslim propaganda which is why there’s been a steady increase of abuse of Muslims in India. Things will change soon tho because both the Sikhs and Muslims have been heavily abused
We love Pakistan 💚

That food looked sooo delicious that I’m envious!!
I understand what you mean about the water. Once in 2013 in the Philippines 🇵🇭 I was at my then gf family home and her mom had cooked a big meal with a side salad 🥗, it was a little wet still from rinsing with water. As l looked at it I knew I may regret this & enjoyed the meal, very good.
Then I had 3 days of the absolute worst diarrhea I had ever had. I went to a Mercury pharmacy there in Marikina and explained what I had eaten and they sold me something I can’t remember now, but it started working within 2 hours. So lesson learned.
From that time forward if I will not eat something I explain as not to be rude.

Hey Karl, Ghulam is a servant or slave. Rasool means Prophet or Messenger.
So the name essentially means Slave/Servant of the Prophet Mohammed.
Which is a controversial name as Muslims are forbidden to use a name that means servernt of or slave of another human being. We are permitted to use it only for Allah, such as servant of Allah is permissible as a name.
Just thought u may be curious, as it is a name commonly found in the subcontinent region. Heck, that's my neighbor's name as well.
:)
Thanks so much for letting me know 🙏
It’s not forbidden to be called servant of Prophet Muhammad SA in literal or figurative meanings. Figuratively it’s a way of showing regard and respect and taking pride on attaining the place of even the servant of Prophet. Like the king/ rulers of Saudi Arabia are officially called as “ Khadim Al-haramaain-sharifaain” ( servant of the two holy mosques ). What’s forbidden is to be called “Abad” ( creation/ man) of anyone other than Allah swt. i.e. Abdullah ( man of Allah ) Abdul-Rehman ( man of the merciful )

The segregation in dhabas and weddings is not everywhere in Pakistan. It depends solely on what traditions , beliefs and values you've been brought up with. There are certain villages that are moderate and some are conservative. The diaspora is very unique in its own way and beautiful. The majority of Pakistanis are moderates.
