      That’s how most bullies try to frame it after HS… they put their arm around you “Yo we use to be friends back in the day, remember?” Most of them look outta shape, despite and lonely. But when you call them out, tell’em how they use to bully you. “Aw no I didn’t lol and if I did, I was just playin. It was for laughs!” 🙄

    They acting like MBJ was having sleepless nights thinking about this. The vibe this girl was giving was so fake and clout-chasing. Like "Here's MBJ who's doing his thing, like when we went to school together". I'd given the same response. I get not everyone in high school is friends, but if you constantly went out your way to call me names and act like I wasnt at your level back then, then im not going to let you use my name today and the fact you "knew me" back then to bring yourself up.
    Here's how I see it. Imagine someone in high school hosting a party and when you (or a friend) asked if it was cool if you passed by she was like "Fuck no, im not having a corny kid in my party". Years later you are the owner of one of the hottest clubs and this girl tries to use the "we went to school together" line to get more of the hometown favortism (maybe even to cut the line or a get a free table). Is your reaction going to be "sure come in"? No, it's going to either be "No." or something petty like "oh so now you want to party with a corny dude" .

    Andrew stated the truth at 8:52 .
    I lived through that Elementary to Highschool and even afterwards. All it did was make me open up to other possibilities. I stopped looking at skin color and went for the girls who were into me. Was too corny for most of the black girls I wanted, and got cheated on by the ones I did date. They wanted street dudes, I was too busy following my dreams. True story. Now today as a married man I get hated on because my wife isn't black. Like I was supposed to wait indefinitely until a black woman decided to see my worth. But happiness is worth the hate. Go with whoever is going to appreciate you for you. If you got time to hate on someone's happy relationship, you must not be satisfied in your own. My opinion.

    I'm with Schulz here. Michael B Jordan isn't interviewing her, she's interviewing him. He doesn't need her approval, but that response of his would have me think otherwise. That's the corny part. If you're MBJ, you know the world calls you the sexiest man alive, they go to see all your movies, they take you seriously in your field, you're on top of the world. But the moment you do this, you become the opposite of all that. You're just that kid from high school all over again. Why don't big rappers answer disses from up and coming rappers? Not because they didn't hear it, but because there's too much to lose and not enough to gain. It would be corny to stoop to the level of someone that people already don't even equate to you. Let the satisfaction come from your success and people vouching for you, not from rubbing it in someone's face that doesn't matter.

      The biggest problem is she acted like they were cool and there was never any sort of tension between them, similar to a person that ragged on you on the come up, just to turn around and say they were rocking with you the whole time when you hit the lottery, etc. Same crap. She's a leech looking for clout and he checked that crap like anybody should with anybody pulling that nonsense. If she didnt bring any of that up and he did out of the blue then he would be the problem but she comes at him like they were cool since day one when she had recently cosigning with someone else that he was corny, lame, etc.

Those same women use the word “corny” as lame, tryhard, soft, etc. Whereas people like MBJ see it as unique and open minded. @6:46 this is big reason why black men date out. You expect a group of people who got relentlessly teased by a group of people to have an interest in those people. Sure, there are women out there that they can find but that stuff imprints on you.

    • @snoopyco07

    • @THEVIDEOARBITRATOR
      @THEVIDEOARBITRATOR Рік тому

      @@snoopyco07 Your stance is incomplete. White nerds get picked on, yes but its not because of being of their interest. Its because of a lack of social skills or being awkard. Its unfair. However the difference with a black man, assuming he has social skills will get picked on for having interests because its not “black.” That’s the difference. Being black to many is tied into anti-intellectualism so if you have interest outside of being a rapper, thug, or drug dealer, you aren’t black. So if a man has a goal he isn’t black. So black men are reduced to being a hypermasculine, anti-intellectual brute or as others outside of our community call us: thugs.
      2) Also so what you are saying is, yes get picked on but tolerate it until you make it. The corny white guy will have much more options than the corny black man since they have a larger demographic and their culture isn’t so stifling. The corny guy is only useful until he makes it.
      3) white men don’t date out as often.
