So don't go crazy looking for it. Second one is totally there though)
Nice review. I agree that design wise it seems to fall between the original series and the motion picture. I gave up trying to imagine that any of the modern trek shows as part of the same timeline as prior shows. There are too many differences that break the illusion. I think of it as the trek version of the marvel multiverse.
It's much easier for me to see the first to seasons of Discovery as part of the same universe now that they're years ago and I remember all the facts and history and not all the window-dressing reasons they clearly aren't :) But seriously it took a bit but I do like what they did with the Federation fleet as a whole in that era. My biggest complaint is how close it is to TOS, but if you look at it as an older fleet (like the fleet was at the start of the Dominion War) and the Klingon was as a trigger to revamp the fleet (remembering that between SNW and TMP the only ships we see are Constitution classes, and they could have been the first to be refit) then it's a really nice experimental yet faithful post-Enterprise look. You just have to ignore the reported ship sized and scale them down to what they actually look like in the show
I assume you mean the Discovery one, as theres a vew ships by that name. Ill put it on the backlog, but we're still working through the last of the Eaglemoss ships I recently acquired. But I should get to these at least by Discovery S5 (probably sooner as its a request and thats likely a ways away). Same for the Europa and cleave ship

It may be cool if you do the USS T'Plana Hath review, I think it's an underrated design
