Its so amazing how ahead of his time he was. The dude knew algorithms, personalized recommendations, e-commerce. Mindblowing amazon puts together content, films now its crazy!
@@DeusAlphax LOL what does Aspergers have to do with this…
@@DeusAlphax He doesn’t seem to have Asperger’s , I have a friend who is diagnosed and it looks much different. Also judging his behavior, Bezos also does not even fit the criteria of someone with autism
@@DeusAlphax isn’t that what Jorge basically said
@@jorgepadilla8392 he just lives in base reality
Investors archive keep up the great job...you have no idea what some of these interviews mean to some nerds like us
I’m using it to put me to sleep 😂😂😂😅
Im getting the chills on the things he speak 20 years ago in this interview and it all came into fruition like on demand video, selling products with high quality pictures and videos and taking advantage of the data.. he always knew what he wanted to do with the company
Perfect way to describe Amazon, "Obsessed with our Customers."
The part about him wanting to give power to the customer is why Amazon is so successful. The guy genuinely has given the world something so incredible.
6:53 legendary laugh
How tf he go from laughing so hard to a straight face
I know he just imagined going into a store and putting a sticker that says "Trash. Don't buy" on products
If I was an investor that time, id buy the stock just because of that billionaire's laugh
people say shit about jeff, but he seems here really humble
He was humble, 22 years ago
I guess you don't work for him.😢
He seems somehow more human here and not so unbelievably full of himself
man with a true vision! Well done Jeff Bezos
I now work at Amazon and you would hear Bezos give the same responses 22 years later.
Legend says he never break eye contact
I was a Senior in high school during this time. Had no idea that Amazon even existed. Today, I'm definitely an Amazon customer.
This interview is really justifies how far has he gone today
inspiring. loved the interview.
The women seems smarter and clearer with her question. The other guy was okay.
Guess you dont know much about VPRO. This was when they were first starting out as duo, the guy is the videographer and she is the journaliat. As there production quality increased their roles sepatated into their specialties. Its nit about that the she is better than he. Watch their later/other VPRO backlight documentaries as they get more polished thru the years.
17:27 describing spotify (where "renting" is amoritized over your subscription costs)
Interesting
17:27? the video is only 8:19 long. It's been cut short.
Visionary leader
Hope you have a back up plan Jeff.Doesnt sound like a good idea to me..Good luck!!
6:45 He still has that crazy laugh, lol

We need to go into his medical records and find out what type of medicines or vitamins or steroids or whatever he's taking to transition him to what he is today. Totally different man
In what sense?
Agree. It really was sad to watch the money and power get to him. He really did have a noble mission to start but I believe it got twisted by greed.
@@zacht.9585 You would have probably transitioned into the same being. What makes you think you are immune to massive power and money? Amazing how people still think in black/white, good/bad in 2022.
Ya for sure it would likely happen to most people in his position. That still doesn't make it right. It's cliche, but with great power comes great responsibility. Honestly the thing that bothered me the most was him cheating on his wife who played a significant role in starting Amazon with him--I think that's a reflection of what was going on internally.
@@zacht.9585 He is a human being with a great, unique capacity for business. Just that. Not a god whatsoever. As he said, he failed many times even in what he is really good at. You are judging him on so many levels! did you live with this guy? do you know what his wife is like after 30 years? do you know whats going on in his mind? what its like to run a company with + 1 million employees? i seriously think this guy can only be judged by peers who have had a similar level of achievement. All of us commenting here know nothing about power and money.
Damn, Dutch television was there early!
Had the evil billionaire laugh even back then
Good copy paste.
He honestly seems innocent here
I almost fell off the bike when he started laughing at 6:57
The women interviewing quite smart
she has a lovely Dutch accent too :)

kevin Spacey describes
Jeff Bezos is a great example for success and failure of capitalism.
Failure? I’d say this man is anything but failure
What do yo mean?
0:22 'als je hem hier vasthoudt gaat het goed'
Freaking love this dude.
Guess you don’t freaking work for him.
"To be focused on customers and obsessed over customers"
Then how come you guys don't even have a customer service number anymore?
You can send them a letter :)
7:00 savage this guy
🎉🎉
I hope they brought a few stocks back then 😀
WoW
Unionize Amazon!!!
Jeff Bezos Hair.Exe stopped working
Commenting to get YT aglorithm at work
He almost looks human back then.
That laugh.
Late night talks at the giga factory Jeff?
Best in the galaxy*
I would love NOT to be your happy customers knowing how you treat the workers.
What a guy! Union buster who slave drives his employees, doesn’t pay taxes, has a monopoly on the market and a cozy relationship with the CIA. But hey...free shipping and returns...yay!
(Richest man on earth had taxpayers fund his rocket ride)...feel free to add to this list if you’re not asleep in the matrix.
6:52 Psycho laugh
Not an attractive man. He actually even comes off gay here
Look who's laughing now, he's jacked and the 2nd richest man in the world plowing Lauren Sanchez on his billion dollar Yacht
@@aaronwylie6928He looks better now for sure. Though his girl was still thirsting for Leo Dicaprio right in front of him recently.
@@aaronwylie6928 I don’t think he would be capable of plowing a furrow in a field, let alone a woman… that’s why they take him for $52 billion in alimony.
@@richardthomas4471 he's jacked dude. Do you work out? You'll find that when you're jacked your sex drive is through the roof. Been like that since the dawn of mankind
@@aaronwylie6928 The only thing"jacked" about him is his wealth, and that wealth attracts women. I wish him well and I hope he pays his fair share of income taxes on his wealth.
Kinda Kevin Spacey this face
