- Rapid's site engineering team were back with Complete General Construction Co, setting up and calibrating the cold feed bins with their Rapidmix 600C mobile continuous mixing plant.
Cold feed bins were calibrated at a ratio of 50/25/25 (50% sand, 25% #8 limestone and 25% #57 limestone).
The company is currently producing 107,000 yds2 (9 inch) RCC (roller compacted concrete) for an American supercenter chain construction project.
Capable of outputs of up to 600 tonnes per hour, Rapidmix is fully mobile and self-contained with a self-erecting system, using hydraulics. The plant can change from travel mode to fully operational within just a few hours.
Specifically designed for semi-dry mixes, Rapidmix provides feed rates that are fully adjustable for the aggregate, cement and water systems.
