Sweet mold, sweet colors equal very sweet baits!! They all turned out great and fish seem to dig ‘em!! The cool thing about the Star Dust is if you ding it up you can hit that spot with heat to smooth it out!! No need to redo the whole jig!! I wouldn’t give up the new camera angle, I’m sure you’ll figure out a place for it but the straight on shot is hard to beat!! Thanks for sharing Adam!!
Thanks James! Appreciate the feedback, along with camera input! Sometimes things can feel a little stale, but that’s probably me more than anyone else! LOL. Thx again!
Great video Adam!! and Awesome colors!! Sucks that those two broke off, but as you said, victory looked like it was very sweet in the end! Cheers Brother!!
Indeed... that first one was a beast... he flashed me on his way to cutting that line against the ladder. Heart-breaker for sure! The second was just weird... instant break at the leader knot! I have since swapped to braid backer but straight flouro on everything but spinning gear. Hopefully that solves the problem!
Great video, love that swing head mold, I actually use 2 #2split rings instead of attaching the hook so then I can use any size hook to fit the bait I use
Nice video! I'm loving that Fat Hawg in that color. You did an awesome job buddy! Sorry about losing the two 8 pounders, or at least that's what they may have weighed, but that's fishing! Thanks for sharing my friend! As always, #SDGCustomLurecraft rocks!
Thanks man!! Maybe not 8lbs (let’s say they weren’t that big - that would hurt even worse! LOL) but that first one was 5 all day! Ah well… I live to fish another day! Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
Just recently found your channel, good stuff. Drop the swinghead and go to a cheburashka (cheb) rig. Same effect in the end but it allows you to switch hooks and change weights very easily. I fish them in the UK for pike and perch with great results.
Another Fun Build to watch Mr Sir Boy That BIG'N Smoke'd ya twice 🤬,,, LoL i was going DUDE back pedal back pedal then she broke ya off ....UGH ... but she got the others all riled up to bite so that makes it Them 2 You 1 ... I have confidence in Ya !! give it a couple days an YAK that Hog outta there with that Awesome look'n Hog 😎👊
Greetings from the North East of England, enjoy your videos very much. Your enthusiasm is infectious!! Would be checking my line if I had two break offs. Keep them coming.
Most definitely! Crazy thing was 2 different rods, LOL! The big fish chaffed me off on the ladder but that second one snapped at the leader knot... go figure! Thanks for watching!
First off happy birthday Reed. 2nd I know the heartache of 2 teenagers.😂😂. You turn around one day and their all grown up. Awesome colors. Hopefully you can catch the 2 that broke off again and get your hooks and baits back. Just wondering if you thought about doing some teaching of lure making. I would love to get some tutoring so I don’t mess up a lot of stuff learning. But practice does make perfect and mistakes are part of learning.
Thanks John, I appreciate you watching! If you go back into the history of the channel most of the videos are tutorial, I'm a teacher at heart so almost every video has some element of teaching in it, whether I "try to" or not, LOL!
Thanks for watching! As with a lot of colorshift, its so hard to capture the nuances and color changes on camera (especially when my lights were acting up) - not sure why that is, but man does it look good in person! Maybe 1/8 tsp to a cup would help, but I've found it needs to be a bit more saturated to drive the effect (again, more easily seen in person). Thanks again for watching and for the feedback!
The bronze and bluegrass stick baits were sick, and Happy birthday to Reed. 🎉
Thanks Lee! I was definitely diggin' em!
I kept thinking that the bronze side of the lure would be awesome with a large black flake and a small red flake. Great looking baits.
Yes indeed it would! A little less saturation as well to help bring them both out. Thanks for watching!
That flake in that bronze was amazing but subtle. Would love to see that bronze with sone other colors . Nice work Adam !
Thx Colby! I'll be playing with it more, for sure... a little less saturation to help highlight the flake... definitely some potential there!
Nice work! Really love how clean and crisp the baits come out of those epic molds. And seeing them catch fish is a real plus.
Thanks Eric! Epic stuff is so high-quality its insane... best in the biz IMO! Thanks for watching!
Another great video + +
Thx man!

Perseverance does pay off. Well done, nice colors for the soft plastics. Be blessed. My friend.
Yes indeed, thanks!!
You make great plastic baits 🎉
Thank you much!! Glad you liked em!
Liked the use of the Barlow color shifts. Results were great. Obviously, the fish thought even if you don’t how to catch them😢😢. Happy Birthday, Reid
The truth hurts sometimes… but it’s good for me. In the words of the infamous poet and scholar Arnold… “I’ll be back…”
@@SDGCustomLurecraft Amen brother. As long as it’s not terminal

Thanks for the laughs, I have done this same thing too many times. That's why I switched to Walleyes and Muskies.
LOL, yes the pain is shared by many! I’m not throwing in the towel just yet though!

Great idea 👍👍 Thx man!
definitely think using the shrink tube here would be good since you dont want paint to get on the eye so it can move freely.
Yup, a great option to help out! Appreciate you watching!

Good stuff as always. I'm not that impressed with that first color shift. It's ok but not great. Maybe better if a little bit more transparent. IMHO

When you pour lead what PPE do you use? I'm worried about flux fumes and other toxins like lead fumes and such.
Gloves and good ventilation has always worked for me, thx!

who makes the most variety of skirt molds?
Plastisol skirt molds? I honestly don’t know. A quick google search should get you a few results!

Cool color when was the give away?? On the two molds
Thx! I’m taking comments on that video through Thursday, June 22. Hopefully I can post the winner announcements this weekend!
