I honestly think Zayn said those things because for him it was easier for the members to hate him than for him to know he broke their heart by leaving and cutting contact. So he purposely started a Twitter fight with Louis; and said he didn't have a relationship with Harry because again in his mind it was possibly better for them to hate him so he didn't have to think about them being upset or heartbroken.

They were put together and given no free will from the start so maybe they have had conflict from the beginning and separating is what helped them become real friends. Well, you aren’t really close to all the people you talk to. Ik they were a band for like 5 years, but It does make sense for Zayn to say he wasn’t rly close to Harry. I know a lot family friends who I saw every day that I wasn’t close to. You can still be considered friends tho.

I've always thought that Zayn and Harry didn't get along that well because u never saw them talk much but from watching multiple Zarry videos from multiple channels, I realized that they did speak and obviously there was a bromance there. They were close ,and infact Zayn loved all the boys and he genuinely cared for them ,he had a special friendship with each one of them. Since Four,he wasn't at his best and he started to grow apart from the rest of the boys,i still don't get if the boys didn't notice the drift. When he couldn't handle it anymore he left. They could have handled it better. The boys were immature too, you can't really take sides here because both Zayn and the boys acted immature and messed up. They were put together and given no free will from the start so maybe they have had conflict from the beginning and separating is what helped them become real friends. They were close ,and infact Zayn loved all the boys and he genuinely cared for them ,he had a special friendship with each one of them. Since Four,he wasn't at his best and he started to grow apart from the rest of the boys,i still don't get if the boys didn't notice the drift. When he couldn't handle it anymore he left. They could have handled it better. The boys were immature too, you can't really take sides here because both Zayn and the boys acted immature and messed up. Zayn probably said he didn't speak to Harry because he was angry at them and they didn't really speak much during the past months. And Zayn didn't expect the boys to avoid him after he left.
