I discovered by accident that it's very easy to lower the action: I took the strings off and turned it upside down and the bridge fell out - along with a small strip of plastic below it. I put the bridge back in without the plastic strip and, hey presto, lowered action. That said, you might want to adjust the truss rod too, or get a guitar shop person to do it, as I did.
I have one of these and I love it. It's not quite as deep sounding as the Cort Earth Mini OP, but it's pretty close if you put thicker gauge strings on it. At half the price of the Earth variety, it's a lovely affordable small guitar that's an affordable upgrade from a half size child's guitar.
@@marcomontesa I'd say it is, and I've tried it with various strings, from 12 gauge to 10. All were good. Unlike the OP, I prefer the 10s. Easier to play, and still a lovely sound. I'm using D'addario phosphor bronze, uncoated.
Half the price? Fully acoustic Cort Earth Minis currently seem to go for around £170. I paid about the same for my AD Mini and am seeing them listed on the web for what I paid.
@@marcomontesa Glad you like it. How are you finding the action? As I posted elsewhere here, it's easy to lower it, or at least it was on mine: I found out by accident that there was a small strip of plastic below the bridge. I put the bridge back in without it and the action was just right. Not sure why they don't provide info on this when you buy it.
I just got one, the action is surprisingly high to me…but very nice sound for how small and affordable it is!

Should I buy this guitar? Are there better alternatives?
There are plenty of fantastic guitars out there and this is definitely one of them if you want a a small bodied guitar :)
There are better alternatives that are more expensive, but for the money, it's pretty great.
Is any difference in sound between all mahagony and spruce top ?
Yes, there is. The different material properties of each wood type have an effect on the resonance of the instrument.
