After 5 years without a bike (what was I thinking), I started the search for a bike and came across the K1200R. You made my decision a lot easier. Thanks for taking us through a great assembly and test ride.
thx for all this k1200r content. i want to start servicing my bike next winter. first time ever. your videos make me more confident that i can handle it. keep it coming. greetings from germany
thanks for all the tips friend; i have a k1200r and it is my favorite bike i have ever owned. i have the hard cases as you do; it is a sport bike and a tourer and does it all with aplomb; be safe buddy; many miles.
Great video! I really enjoyed seeing the transformation. I have the same bike and was wondering if you noticed where the outside temperature sensor is located on the bike? Thanks
Awesome Video. I just picked up one of these bikes. 2006 - 80,000km on the clock with a new clutch - Great condition. Any other maintenance I can expect? How many KMs do you think I will get out of this bike?
Hi thanks for that. They are a fantastic bike and I have a second one that has 182,000klms on it and has only had a new clutch and abs removal. Everything else is original. The final drive is probably the next thing I would have to look out for on it but I have a friend that has 250,000klms on their final drive and it is still in great condition. Over service it doing all fluids every 5-10,000klms and it will probably outlast you.
@@jessesshed2928 That is amazing! Can't wait to get out for a ride on mine (NZ on lockdown ATM). Really love the style of this bike also. Mine has two heated seats (switches on the side) I have never seen another with these on it. Must be aftermarket! Happy riding, look forward to watching more of your videos in future.

Congrats by the hard work and the result. The bike is back to the originals.
Thanks Enio, It came up really well and is fantastic to ride!
I thought the green looked fantastic, but I am glade you decided to stick with the original.
I would really like to know how you made them look like new, send me a pm and if you want we can talk about it
Thank s from the Black Forest :-)
Niceeeee looking bike!!! I'm looking to get one of these.
I'm 1.88 would it be big enough for me?

It is on the rider side of the air-box. Slightly to the right. It is inserted from the bottom. Need to move back the tank to see it
What's the risk on this bike without a crash bar?
