Flazzers, you are correct. You can call yourself a " vet " if you leave after one day but you would get a kicking in every pub if you went around bragging. Don't think anyone in Britain as ever called themselves a vet unless they have properly served.Obviously you don't get any money or anything, just the shame 😂✌️

But yeah, “technically” you’re a vet after just one day. I wouldn’t refer to myself as a veteran unless I’d been to war or at least on operations (I’ve currently been to neither if you’re wondering).
