yep. Thats why we take shelter as soon as we get the warning, not hear or see the tornado. Of course, these rules dont go for these absolute mad lads here.
It's almost scary but at the same time mesmerizing that everything is moving *that* fast at the beginning of the video. It would be cool storm chasing when I grow up, but situations like that seem terrifying.
Just like anything else, the more you understand the science behind these storms, the safer you can be. Knowledge reduces fear. Emotions do run high. They are a terrifying site. But if you can remain calm, you can remember what the storm is likely to do and stay safe. Don't get too aggressive on your approach to the storm and you should be fine. Be an observer, not a participant. :-)
Loved how calm you were during these storms, the camera work was really well executed, and I really enjoyed, just listening to natural sounds. Thanks for this, Happy easter. :)
I really like Skips videos for those very reasons. It's calming in a way. Hearing the wind, rain, and hum of car wheels on the ground. Not to mention watching these horrific beauties roam open fields. I don't ever want to see people get hurt, though unfortunately it happens, but watching them in the open is really something. awesome.
As a Southerner, we all know when the sky gets that deep green hue and things get really still; time to hunker down! The footage is excellent, thank you!
Best tornado footage I’ve seen this year! Very photogenic system. The color contrast is awesome (from a photography standpoint). Excellent work! I love it!
That's not at all what this is about, Madison. Most of the tornadoes in this video did minimal damage and hurt no one. And those that did, it's certainly not shown. Tornadoes are just a part of nature, like any other powerful and dangerous force at which people wonder.
It's true, and the stats for tornadoes are pretty interesting if you look them up. There are somewhere between 1000-2000 tornadoes in the US every year. Between 75 and 90% of them inflict only EF0 or EF1 damage, and as little as 1% are killers.
@Madison Daily just because people find something that is destructive to be interesting does not mean that we like the damage and suffering they cause. You don't have to love something for it to pique your interest. I watched a documentary about 911 because I was interested to learn about it, but I don't find terrorism entertaining. Your comment was written with a third grade mentality.
@Madison Daily Its scary, interesting and educational...just because it interests us doesn't mean we enjoy seeing a loss of life or property entertaining... How come you didnt comment about the guy running into the farm to help??? Should we just bury our heads in the sand and pretend tornadoes dont exist??
Thank goodness for video, that Conger super cell was incredible to see, first time I've ever had a chance to watch it, im not sure if anything like that has ever been recorded or not, but man can you imagine how big that was in person, video doesn't do justice to how big something like this really is, awesome footage.

I was inside of my residence in Raceland, LA when it all came down. Partially collapsed and took the roof right off. I'm 40 years old and never experienced something like this in my life.
Meanwhile, I've lived in Arkansas my whole life (46yrs) and I've never seen a tornado...and for that I'm thankful, I prefer to see them on YT.

best gift ever lol
Who has 3 hours to watch all these??
Oh
@@mooseandsquirellfriend People w/ no life ????
LOL
@@tushchaser lol no I meant most of us are on lock down and this is a blessing to make 3 long hours fly by for them.

People who like tornadoes. Though not all in one go
Cheers, great upload. I had a trip to Oklahoma booked and paid for this May, which isn't happening anymore, so these videos are going to be the next closest thing.
2:35 it just grows so huge in seconds
I'm disabled and with covid19 I spend most all my time watching tornado videos some of them I watch over again..im hooked on these videos of tornados..i think I need help ..lol..another great video..
That’s what she said
@@jhil5160 thank you for your service 🙌😂
yep. Thats why we take shelter as soon as we get the warning, not hear or see the tornado. Of course, these rules dont go for these absolute mad lads here.
The most exciting part of this video is that no one is talking and you can hear the power of these beauts :)
I woke up and YT had this playing. It's actually a very helpful sleep aid.
Thank you Skip! Could not have spent three hours in any better way:) Talk about a relief from bordom:)
It's almost scary but at the same time mesmerizing that everything is moving *that* fast at the beginning of the video. It would be cool storm chasing when I grow up, but situations like that seem terrifying.
I’d rather chase a hurricane then a tornado
@@thelegitstandard2821 Hurricanes produce tornadoes
Dakota Taylor can I play with you
Just like anything else, the more you understand the science behind these storms, the safer you can be.
Knowledge reduces fear.
Emotions do run high. They are a terrifying site. But if you can remain calm, you can remember what the storm is likely to do and stay safe.
Don't get too aggressive on your approach to the storm and you should be fine.
Be an observer, not a participant. :-)
@@JDavidChilders well said
this is literally exactly what I've been needing. thank you, Skip
There is something exceptional about the quality of your videos. I’ve never seen footage this good
It always amazes me that people just keep driving towards a tornado. Not the storm chaser but like a big truck.
Loved how calm you were during these storms, the camera work was really well executed, and I really enjoyed, just listening to natural sounds. Thanks for this,
Happy easter. :)
I really like Skips videos for those very reasons. It's calming in a way. Hearing the wind, rain, and hum of car wheels on the ground. Not to mention watching these horrific beauties roam open fields.
I don't ever want to see people get hurt, though unfortunately it happens, but watching them in the open is really something. awesome.
The Dinosaur I agree ☝️
i need to just hunker down and watch this. i love the way you film these crazy storms. its so hauntingly beautiful.
Skip has a talent for capturing these beautiful nightmares at really nice angles.
It's videos like this has my son wanting to pursue a career in meteorology, thank you very much
Skip is an absolute saint for posting this, Hank in here as well.. and 3 hours of Tornadoes. 2020 ain't so bad now.
magnifique spectacle , nous n'avons pas de tornade comme celle-ci en France et je suis toujours stupéfaite de voir ces vidéos , merci pour le partage
As a Southerner, we all know when the sky gets that deep green hue and things get really still; time to hunker down!
The footage is excellent, thank you!
Best tornado footage I’ve seen this year! Very photogenic system. The color contrast is awesome (from a photography standpoint). Excellent work! I love it!
This is awesome. 3 hours of amazing no nonsense footage of tornados. Great way to spend lockdown. 🤗
This is the best covered video of tornadoes I've seen yet! Wonderful photography work, and keeping on each one for a good long time!
I’ve never seen a channel watch a tornado dissipate. For that reason, I’m subscribed.
Me: *is fascinated by tornadoes*
UA-cam: *recommends me a 3 hour tornado video*

Haters just love hating.
@Madison Daily Its scary, interesting and educational...just because it interests us doesn't mean we enjoy seeing a loss of life or property entertaining... How come you didnt comment about the guy running into the farm to help??? Should we just bury our heads in the sand and pretend tornadoes dont exist??
Thank goodness for video, that Conger super cell was incredible to see, first time I've ever had a chance to watch it, im not sure if anything like that has ever been recorded or not, but man can you imagine how big that was in person, video doesn't do justice to how big something like this really is, awesome footage.
wow this is phenomenal Skip you just earned yourself another sub thank you for educating us through these videos and others like the El Reno torndao retrospective Ive always wanted to learn about Mother Natures fury and you have done just that with your videos. Keep up the good work
Viewer Tip: Hit that ⚙ and change the playback speed to 2x - It's even more terrifyingly awesome!
Thank you
Badass
Awesome!
2:44:03... Fastest-ever recorded ground speed of a tornado!
95 MPH!!
Can't tell if it is speed up or not.
@@Lennyst It’s not sped up. The satellite was getting sucked into the main rotation and it made the satellite’s forward speed increase. The best part is that it was recorded. How cool!
As always Skip great work and thanks for uploading..I thoroughly enjoy binge watching your videos even more so now with everything going on and to top it off its severe weather season where I live...keep up the great work
Stay safe
54:00 This is by far the very best footage i have ever seen of a tornado. Skip Talbot, you sir are awesome. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I recognized your name from the El Reno footage you had. Still amazed at how deceptive that tornado was. Anyway, finally subbed your channel. Thank you for this amazing compilation and stay safe out there this year. Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas might come through big time for you guys . IMO the three best states to chase in. I'll throw in Nebraska as an honorable mention, lol.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks Skip for all your beauties! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Watching this rn with the fan on , definitely worth watching . I love watching stuff about disasters especially seeing it from someone POV
2:05:42 I remember this one I was at Dollar General with my Grandma
I watched the whole thing in one sitting, and I don't feel any shame about it.
Good video my guy.
Watching this video and 3 hours of the sounds of Vietnam ambience, are great ways to relax.
Best tornado footage I've ever seen. It's not scary, visceral, but so beautiful. Incredible photography. You hit the tornado jackpot, though not to be disrespectful of all that happened that day.
Yoooo thanks for this, I’ve been wanting some new content to watch in the background while gaming or drawing. This is the perfect video!
Just an idea from artist to artist. You should stop the vid at some point and draw a still life of it. It's great practice and you can go all crazy abstract with it if ya want. Just a suggestion.
@@thedinosaur2777 That reminds me of how Bob Ross was inspired to do his paintings. I always love to listen to him as he describes his techniques. His voice was always so soothing.
I just love watching clips of tornadoes ever since I saw the movie Twister as a boy.
This thing starts with a _banger!_ I've never seen cloud motion conveyed like that, nor a tornado become visible that fast! I'm sure this was absolutely incredible to witness IRL. (Conger, MN EF4)
Omg, I'm still watching the first tornado, and its perfect! I mean, it has all kind of shapes.
I’ve always had a fascination with natural phenomena but I’m very aware of the destruction that comes with them.
This is the most amazing footage of tornados that I have ever seen! Skip you have nerves of steel my Man!
The footage that starts at 2:38:00 and what that tornado morphs into has got to be one of the most horrifyingly beautiful things I've ever seen caught on video, amazing...absolutely amazing stuff guys, wow 👏
I realize this was 4yrs ago but I just found your videos and I love them. I feel like I am in the car with you. Your not screaming Look Look like other tornado filmers. Your more professional then the others. Thanks. I just subscribed and if other videos are like this I will join. Fingers crossed and stay safe.
Watching tornado videos are calming. They some how help me climb down from anxiety attacks…
That’s why i watch them so much…
Thank you for excellent footage without all of the childish yelling other videos have.
me: absolutely terrified of tornados
Skip Talbot: 3 hours of spinners
also me: addicted to things i’m scared of
oooh what a journey, thank you kindly, sir!
i do not understand how people are WILLINGLY becoming storm chasers. tornadoes are so amazingly terrifying, but i think i'd rather cut my own foot off than to do this for a living. props to yall
What's even worse is that most of us don't do this for a living. It's a hobby.
Well, I’ll answer my on dumb question! No this is no the Rochelle tornado!!! But one as beautiful. I had seen a video years ago of an incredibly beautiful tornado, and for the last year had bee trying to find it. Thought it was Skip Talbot that filmed it, but for some reason, it was hiding from me! Found it without realizing it!!! Thought it was a Nebraska tornado, but it was a Minnesota tornado!!! This first one, the Conger EF4 was the most incurable structure on a storm I had ever seen. Now of course we can add the Rochelle EF4. So beautiful, yet so deadly.
the day of the twins still goes down as one of my favrate days of watching livestreams from the uk 2 giant wedges on the ground over and over again
