      @@garymackey850 Agree.
      Reed Timmer the screamer is completely ANNOYING!
      I think he purposely yells and screams for sensationalism.
      I mean...he's supposed to be this professional storm chaser. Yet in EVERY video he rants and raves and screams like a little emotional girl.
      So either he isn't the pro that he proclaims to be, or he does it for sensationalism.
      Either way, it works against him, because many people can't stand watching him because of his immature behavior.
      I like Pecos Hank's videos the best. He never gets all worked up or screams and repeats the same things over and over again. He is very informative and has a bit of funny humor to add to his videos.
      The only thing I don't like about him lately is...you have to be a contributer to his Patreon account in order to see his most latest videos.
      But hey, I guess that's capitalism right.

UA-cam has fucked things up for everyone, even people with tons of subscribers (like Cinemassacre with 3mil) have been having to do things like that and make ad segments for sponsors in order to make enough money or to try to keep their income close to what it use to be.

    i cant even tell you how many times ive watched this video. ive even fallen asleep to watching it twice at least. this dudes got some killer footage, but this first video here alone is what keeps bringing me back. the absolute enormity of the two tornadoes in the beginning, and the colors of it all making it almost dreamlike. like some surreal vision or something. and all juxtaposing with the understanding that these beautifully mesmerizing gargantuan things seemingly gliding like some towering ballerinas at this distance, are possibly destroying entire lives, entire towns, and even killing people as you watch it. just so, so much to this, its truly amazing. and probably by far the best footage ive ever seen and hands down. its personally my favorite of a lot of favorites.

      Knowledge reduces fear.
      Emotions do run high. They are a terrifying site. But if you can remain calm, you can remember what the storm is likely to do and stay safe.
      Don't get too aggressive on your approach to the storm and you should be fine.

      That's not at all what this is about, Madison. Most of the tornadoes in this video did minimal damage and hurt no one. And those that did, it's certainly not shown. Tornadoes are just a part of nature, like any other powerful and dangerous force at which people wonder.

    • @skiptalbot
      @skiptalbot  4 роки тому +55

      It's true, and the stats for tornadoes are pretty interesting if you look them up. There are somewhere between 1000-2000 tornadoes in the US every year. Between 75 and 90% of them inflict only EF0 or EF1 damage, and as little as 1% are killers.

    • @zachperez8937
      @zachperez8937 4 роки тому +48

      @Madison Daily just because people find something that is destructive to be interesting does not mean that we like the damage and suffering they cause. You don't have to love something for it to pique your interest. I watched a documentary about 911 because I was interested to learn about it, but I don't find terrorism entertaining. This first one, the Conger EF4 was the most incurable structure on a storm I had ever seen. Now of course we can add the Rochelle EF4. So beautiful, yet so deadly.
