I got Covid for the 1st time ever on 7/12/24. I had a horrible sore throat. My pharmacy was out of Covid tests. I ended up going to Urgent Care on 7/15/24. I tested positive. I was really sick with a severe sore throat and coughing and sinus issues. Ached all over. I was miserable. They ordered me Paxlovid and I've been in bed for the past week and a half and I am now feeling a little better. I plan on testing again on 7/26/24 to see if I am Covid clear. I do not wish this on anyone. I've been vaccinated over the past several years and I will continue to get additional vaccinations as necessary.

The following month after so through June I was often coughing with a plugged ear. Again I took some sinus medication and 2 to 3 weeks later, that cleared up.
Everyone I know got the tetanus vaccine, and I've never met anyone who had tetanus. However, everyone I know got the covid vaccine, and we all got covid. Why?
Well, for one, I don't think tetanus is contagious (I think it's a bacteria, not a virus that can mutate) and I don't think it's present at such high levels in communities as Covid is now. Also, it looks like the tetanus booster is recommended every 10 years, so I'm guessing it's more protective than the CURRENT Covid vaccines. The current vaccines are meant to keep people from serious illness from the initial infection--if you read into it, they don't prevent infection or spread. Supposedly some new vaccines are in the works that will last longer, be easier to take, and may actually prevent people from spreading Covid to others.
