A couple of weeks after the train he was the engineer on, the train hit a 4 yr old boy(he was almost 5 yrs old ), who lived in a house where the backyard was by the railroad tracks. His grandparents lived on the other side of the railroad tracks. His parents would often go to see the little guy's grandparents ( paternal grandparents) as the walked across the tracks into the grandparents' backyard. The little guy was told never to go to GMA/GPA's house and use the tracks unless his parents were with him. One day, as he was playing outside his mom, had just come home with him after he was tested to Kindergarten Round-Up. I’ve never watched this video Greg plitt is a legend Greg plitt is a huge influence on me getting me back on track in life. I will always come back to his videos when ever I need that motivation
I feel bad for his loved ones, but my real condolences go out to the drivers of these trains, who are just trying to get through their jobs safely. They, everyone on board, and bystanders could be injured or killed in these accidents. I can see a teenager doing something so self-centered and irresponsible, but it always shocks me when adults do it. The drivers also worked hard to get where they are: there are far more people who'd like to be RR engineers than their are job openings - especially in California - and many who dream of it end up driving a bus! In the Midnight Rider case, the selfishness rating was even higher, as the film maker risked other people's lives (he wasn't even present) just to get the shot he wanted without a permit. Sarah Jones and most of that film crew probably didn't even want to be on the trestle, but he knew they'd do it to hang onto a dream job in the film industry.
+flyinspirals It makes me a bit sick every time Randall Miller and Jody Savin claim they believed they had permission to film on the tracks. Permission was expressly denied twice by CSX, and the whole shoot was being done in a stealthy way. The crew were afraid. Well, at least he actually went to jail for it -- he wasn't a rich enough director yet to make someone else take the fall, and then make it all go away.
In the Midnight Rider case, the star William Hurt stopped everything and ask the Assistant Diector how much time they had to get off the tracks when a train was coming. He was told 60 seconds. Actually the engineer didn't sound the horn until 26 seconds before hitting the bed on the tracks. The engineer sounds the horn as soon as he sees objects on the tracks and his eye never leaves the tracks. The Midnight Rider crew had 26 SECONDS to get themselves and their equipment off the tracks-- and yes, the director was present.
@@flyinspirals Did the director have an email from CFX authorizing the crew to film on the railroad bridge? Enough said: the director was "stealing the shot" and the price was that members of his crew were injured and one crew member was killed by the train.
"You have seconds to figure out what to do" A better idea is to stay off the damn tracks and use some common sence and it would all be a non issue. People that have nothing to do on the tracks should just stay away from them. And please be moore aware of your suroundings when passing the tracks aswell.

Folks, if we put fences around everything that is dangerous you wouldn't be able to move. Roads are dangerous. The bath tub is dangerous. Lighting the barbecue can be dangerous. Trains are extremely dangerous and as humans we have to have the intelligence to make wise choices. In this case the people including Greg didn't think things through beforehand. All of the good things Greg did will live on. It's unfortunate that the final lesson had to be that caution is required around tracks and don't try to outrun a train. I hope that his thousands of fans will remember and never suffer the same fate.

He thought if he flexed his abs hard enough it might stop the train.
I feel good how he ashames ur shitty look

Günnar Schulke pin tren?

Steve Odin oh lol 😂
His pride and stupidity, killed him
Yup, he seemed like a arrogant, cocky dude. But he new how to get fit.
Yeah notice how all his friends and people who knew him aren’t crying because he was probably not a nice dude
Agreed. The way he talked / cursed and portrayed himself in his videos, pretty much shows his personality.
I guess the the train gave him some *REAL* training.
@@Kodiak_Brown_Bear oh my god 😆😆
He had the whole state of California to run but he had to pick Train Tracks .
He died trying to outrun the train. He was filming a commercial for an energy drink. Anyone who's saying it was suicide or that he didn't know the train was there is a moron. Do y'all's research before you go throwing dirt on someone's name. This man was by far one of the most successful individuals in the fitness world and a great loss.

I’ve never watched this video Greg plitt is a legend
Greg plitt is a huge influence on me getting me back on track in life. I will always come back to his videos when ever I need that motivation
Call me stupid but I wouldn't walk on the freeway let alone on the train tracks. R.I.P
If there were people around him, how did he ended up dying?
Dark theory but maybe they let him die
Later after all investigations Police stated they planned to run on parallel tracks, by accident he runned on working one...
pvtsonic He wouldn’t listen, I’m sure, or they were too scared to pull him off..?
I see natural selection is beginning to make a comeback.
So smart, he' received ''The Darwin Award''
Ha good one he atleast won a 89th award of Stupidity the Darwin awards theres a lesson here DONT EXTERSIZE IN TRAINTRACKS BRUH IF YOU COULD CALL ANYONE STUPID IT WOULD BE THIS GUY
@@greeneyedvenez813 Stfu he died
Folks, if we put fences around everything that is dangerous you wouldn't be able to move. Roads are dangerous. The bath tub is dangerous. Lighting the barbecue can be dangerous. Trains are extremely dangerous and as humans we have to have the intelligence to make wise choices.
In this case the people including Greg didn't think things through beforehand. All of the good things Greg did will live on. It's unfortunate that the final lesson had to be that caution is required around tracks and don't try to outrun a train. I hope that his thousands of fans will remember and never suffer the same fate.
Note to everyone: no trespassing on railroad property. Period.

Somewhere out there, there must be a real brutally graphic video of him getting hit by that train.
