Yes, we need a more diverse set of international students. Not just from one group. I have no problem with Indians, however, it’s not fair for other students from different countries. I’m happy that the government is now realising this!
I totally agree, I don’t hate indians too, I have met some amazing indian students but I guess we need to balance it out, the numbers before was insane tbh! I didn’t even realize it until I saw this report.
I came to Canada at the end of 2021 because I followed and watched your vlogs. Now I'm on my 3-year PGWP. I now work for two different companies because one job is an overnight shift. While I was a student, I also worked part-time. There are many possibilities to get PR because there are many pathways. The changes are beginning to work, yes Canada needs international students but it needs quality students genuinely interested in studying. The ones that try to use the system only for coming to Canada not caring to what they study or where will be badly burnt as they don’t stand a chance of getting a PR.
yes, its is actually working now! we need more quality students it really messes up the integrity of the international student program.
I Sponsored my wife 10 months ago and the process is still on going , why is ircc processing student visa's in a month , We as family class have to wait ? , No offence to any student from any country but it isn't fair ... and i will be honest i lived in the Philippines for 3 years and i respected the country's Law and visa Rules, when i went to renew my last visa the officer told me this is your last renewal you have to leave and that's exactly what i did , I planned to come back to Canada save money and sponsor my wife , But when i see students protesting in my Countries streets Demanding pr or Extinctions to there visa , Imagine if i did that in their Country's ??? , fact is your not guarantied pr if you come here !!! our government has the right to change Immigration rules at anytime same as your home country so Please respect our laws and our visa rules , And plan accordingly god bless
@@dwayne9555 pr processing is different from temporary visa, for student visa they will only ned to check few requirements compared to PR application. For Pr application, they will need to check ALL the necessary docs and information for the past 10 yrs. I also had to wait for my PR for 1.5 yrs. But yes I agree with u no one can demand for PR here you need to prove yourself that you are the most skilled among the rest.
@@studyliveexploreca well personal temporary visitors or students should be vetted more also , this country could be letting in criminals or gang members , your a Filipino i don't know if you know this but as a foreigner we are screened for a blacklist when we enter the country and every time we renew our visa we are also screened maybe we need as Canadians to start doing the same ? we renew or visa's there every 2 months for up to a limit of 3 years then you have to leave , god bless
@@dwayne9555 Student Vida has criminal record check too, we submit our Police clearance from home country and any other countires we’ve been to if we stayed for more than 6 months, the question is, how they verify it? Hnmmm.
@@studyliveexploreca yes they checked but its not as extensive as what we have to go threw , ircc and cbsa and cics checks
They're still givinv indians upper hands. In my college group only few if them are still waiting for Ircc response and they approved their visas within a week and even days. Canada immigration is crazy honestly

@@papiandme3628 papi, I came to canada alone (single mom), and left my dependent back home (yes its was not easy) but i was so focus on my goal to finish my studies and apply for Pr. So now I got my pr, and dependents got it too and we are now waiting for our citizenship. :) You feel the pain in the process, but remember to keep your eyes on the price!

Kinda amaze there wasn't a cap on the quota for nationality cause look at the demographic now
Hmmm they could probably do that too, because the working holiday visa in Canada has that rule, they close the it once they send out certain number of invitations per country so who knows maybe IRCC might do this.
