Like Ranboo's long pauses during the "interviews", them repeating what they said in the interviews, and especially notable is Charlie glitching and repeating the word "Slime". Maybe that's not the word he meant, and they were sort of censoring him? -Things are OFF. As in, this feels wrong, and you can tell something is wrong, but it also feels like someone wants you to think this is okay. (Ranboo wakes up again about halfway through) -The mascot is evil, which I didn't trust him initially, so good. He obviously doesn't want Ranboo to wake up or know things. -When he wakes up, the mask flashes, so they seem to loose control of him. -The behavior throughout the "cooking show" is extremely cartoonish and abnormal. -The "cooking show" seems to be an attempt at easing the audience into the situation and divering our attention from the reality that these people are prisoners. -When Ranboo wakes again, he's normal, but it also seems like he understands a few things. This all might be following some events that already set the stage. I would think he would be more freaked out if this was a first for him. -Worth noting that he went STRAIGHT for the tape when he woke up. Those mean something for sure. -I have a feeling the person on the TV means well. They tell him to keep playing along, they might need time to do something or maybe it's dangerous for Ranboo to fight too soon. And the mascot doesn't like TV guy, which is a green flag. -Lighting changes based on whether they have control or not, and the music cuts when they don't have control. -Okay, Sneeg is here. So, he's woken up again, and he once again bee-lines it to the TV. Lights dimmed, mask flashing. -Little bitch mascot says "we are still in Control". Little thing I noticed. Sometime near the beginning, the mascot says "I miss Richard." Maybe this is referring to another UA-camr, and I'm just not picking up on that, but either way, it could be connected to the lore.

7:22 the way that ranboo spent over five minutes just looking for keys and when he finally gets them slimecicle just breaks down the door is amazing payoff
My favorite part of it is that slimecicle was the first person to interact with ranboo so for a couple of minutes there was this mystical atmosphere and then SLIMECICLE BUSTS OPEN THE DOOR
watching this again and realizing all the goofy/awkward acting was purposeful. all the funny bits of cooking with slime is an illusion that's disguising the dark, disturbing truth. ranboo's a genius actually.

At some point during this Ranboo gotta burned by an exposed wire and got 2nd degree burns. He kept going because he didn't want to interrupt the stream and only later figured out how bad it actually was. He did a very good job hiding it.

Cool thing I noticed: in the beginning during those breaks where it was like ranboo was being “interviewed” before and after he started talking he had a blank stare, like everything he said was being chosen and controlled, which adds to the whole mind controlling mask thing. I found that cool haha
I love how ranboo just falls non-verbal at the start. He just starts looking around for a few minutes before getting settled, especially after that urn/vase broke, he just screamed “No! No!” And then got up like nothing happened and went verbal again.
i find it interesting and disconcerting how ranboo is always unconcerned and chill when he sees another dimension, but when they come back, they seem scared and traumatised

I do like the detail at 1:12:45 where you can see Sneeg’s eyes frantically moving around like he’s aware of what Charlie’s doing but is stuck in his NPC pose until Ranboo wakes up
Anyone else notice that "Ranboo" acts differently when the mask is on? When it's off (the few times it was) he was acting more serious- and confused. But it's on he clearly acts differently than that and that version of Ranboo never sees the tv screen (like when he defeated the spirit, his mask went off and he watched the tv again, but when it came on, this Ranboo doesn't react to it). Also earlier when he watched the tv, mask lit up Ranboo woke up confused. ALSO at the beginning both of them react to seeing the cabin for the first time. After the vase breaks, and his mask gets lit-up, he re-reacts to it being broken, as if he hadn't already seen it. EDIT: I've never gotten so many likes and while I know it doesn't matter much I wanted to say I really love and appreciate this community for always being so kind!
I love how you based the fights like video games, especially this part: Slime: NO! DONT PLUG THAT IN! Ranboo: Try to stop me! Slime: I can't, its not my turn. Also, I have ADD, making it practically impossible to finish a video, but I finished the entire series without changing vid. This just proves how good the series is!
Charlie is the type of guy, who sees a bowl of slime and ask: "Is anyone gonna eat that?" and not wait for an answer I definitly didn't expect this to blow up this much, thank you

Generation 1 really went from goofy ass Charlie as a demon falling over on a tricycle during a boss fight to Jerma as a rip-off budget John Kramer to all out psychological horror and death traps on SAW levels.
I can not help but wonder if Jerma's dollhouse is an easter egg or important plot detail, though it is made even harder to tell from the layers of deception implied to exist throughout this.
I’m guessing so, as the trailer for the second episode looks to lean in a lot more to the horror and story parts of Genloss. The humor and silliness in the first episode was awesome, though!

I originally thought it was gonna go for a more FNAF-ish stuff, but it definitely was a lot more Franbow and Little Misfortune vibes. There's a goofy and fun vibe, but after a bit, a horror element kinda just HAPPENS I seriously can't wait to see the second episode
I just realised throughout this episode they keep hinting how long the show will be in total "It's an 8 hour flight" "I was sitting there for the entire 8 hours" "I had to watch that for 8 hours" Watch this back as well its crazy how much they were brain controlled because near the start Ranboo says that's a nice painting and points at the cameras meaning he "sees" a wall there instead of the cameras. Then in episode 2 he can see the cameras but just accepts that they are with the "host" It's not until episode 3 he starts questioning the cameras and gets scared by the people with them but still he accepts them still.
My favourite detail is the part where Charlie keeps repeating "I mean slime, I mean slime, I mean slime-" with what we know now he most likely was trying to get past the censorship and say "blood" or "guts" or whatever word can be described for a bowl of human blood and organs.
Just so everyone knows, the shark pickle monster was made by us, that part isnt shown but slime sat at the desk with the crystal ball and cartoon varients of monsters showed up. Also the options were Gorilla, Lobster, Parrot, and Shark. And then pickle for torso
Coming back and rewatching this, has anyone else noticed that on the fridge, the magnets spell out “Behind you”. If you’re facing the fridge then the cameras would be behind you. It could have been a warning to the truth. Which we find out about later in the episodes. And in episode 3, Hetch says “Behind You” a couple times.
I realized that without even watching the third one and the second one. I was wondering if this was a weird kinda thing we’re he is trapped. And yep. Me smort.
First of all, credit to whoever discovered this theory but I can’t find it anywhere! The fact that “slime” is blood/insides and gore and the mask disguised that is horrifying because Charlie is covered in it. The mask also disguises that Frank is a corpse and turns them into a skeleton which is less gory, this only happened when the mask glows, which is probably why it’s always glowing around Charlie.
Dont rely on mat, hes not really the best. I still remember when he covered Wilburs arg and said that he had "Multiple personality disorder" even when Wilbur himself had debunked the theory months before
I swear Charlie has completely mastered the art of internet comedy. Anything he's in has like 100x the comedic value. I love the interactive format of this I really wanna be there to participate now lol

I feel like people aren't talking about the mascot enough. I know there's not much to go off of, but that mascot definitely is up to something. Especially when it started talking about "THEY'RE CHEATING" and "MY WALL" when Sneeg and Ranboo used the scissors. Also the "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" when Ranboo put in the VHS tape. I only just finished this episode, but I feel like the mascot is definitely going to play a bigger part in the story as a villain. I do not trust it.

Theory time! At the start, somebody wakes up. We’ll call them R1. They try to take the mask off, check the doors, see the green birds place, open the book that triggers the haunt. The urn falls at 2:08. We get our first intelligible words from R1: “wasn’t supposed to...” Then the mask lights up and they scream NO! before suddenly becoming R2. R2 is a lot calmer and more friendly; they’re able to be controlled by the audience; they’re the perfect pawn. Now, what this looks like is that R1 is TestSubject!Ranboo with enough memories to tell him he’s not supposed to be here, and the mask is a mind control device that activates sometime around 2:30, turning him into R2. But all is not as it seems! For you see, R1 freaks out after touching the ashes- ashes we later learn belong to Slime’s deceased grandmother! And what sort of entity resides in spooky places, finds itself attached to the remains of the deceased, and moves inanimate objects during a haunt? WHAT ENTITY CAN DO THESE THINGS, RISE FROM THEIR OWN ASHES AND INHABIT THE BODY OF ANOTHER??????? So yeah basically Ranboo was just possessed by demon!slime’s grandma the whole time. We were just doing Truman Show Street Fighter with slime’s dead grandma the whole time. ;p
I actually really love this theory! Maybe not so much the possessed by Charlie’s dead grandma bit, but the R1 and R2 bit for sure. The idea that the mask is how showfall media controls him and that when it’s not glowing is when he is thinking for himself. (Like when he goes through the doors at the start the mask doesn’t glow but when he comes back, it’s glowing again.) Edit: oh and also towards the end when the screen is ‘glitching’ the light in his mask flashes on and off. When he’s watching the video the mask slowly turns off and he starts acting confused. When the video is over it turns back on and he suddenly starts acting happy that he won again, almost as if he had never gotten confused or even seen the video at all

I love rewatching the episodes. Because you can now actually understand what's happening. Like how in the beginning Ranboo is quiet and anxious, but then the mask turns on, and then suddenly they act like some video game character. Gen loss is awesome.
did anyone else notice that at 59:02, the book on the stairs is Dante's Inferno, which is a book about a poet (Dante) who descends in to the nine layers of hell guided by the poet virgil, until he gets to the center where satan himself resides. Could Ranboo be Dante and slimecicle virgil? It seemed like too much of a coincidence to pass up, but it may be nothing.
The fact that he did this with a wire burning his back is incredible. Like he should have stopped the show to get it fixed and we wouldn’t have cared as long as they were ok but instead they just kept on going with it.

At some point during this Ranboo gotta burned by an exposed wire and got 2nd degree burns. He kept going because he didn't want to interrupt the stream and only later figured out how bad it actually was. He did a very good job hiding it.

Anyone else notice that "Ranboo" acts differently when the mask is on? When it's off (the few times it was) he was acting more serious- and confused. But it's on he clearly acts differently than that and that version of Ranboo never sees the tv screen (like when he defeated the spirit, his mask went off and he watched the tv again, but when it came on, this Ranboo doesn't react to it). Also earlier when he watched the tv, mask lit up Ranboo woke up confused. ALSO at the beginning both of them react to seeing the cabin for the first time. After the vase breaks, and his mask gets lit-up, he re-reacts to it being broken, as if he hadn't already seen it.
EDIT: I've never gotten so many likes and while I know it doesn't matter much I wanted to say I really love and appreciate this community for always being so kind!
Oh and the mask blinks at certain serious points!

Generation 1 really went from goofy ass Charlie as a demon falling over on a tricycle during a boss fight to Jerma as a rip-off budget John Kramer to all out psychological horror and death traps on SAW levels.
I can not help but wonder if Jerma's dollhouse is an easter egg or important plot detail, though it is made even harder to tell from the layers of deception implied to exist throughout this.

Coming back and rewatching this, has anyone else noticed that on the fridge, the magnets spell out “Behind you”. If you’re facing the fridge then the cameras would be behind you. First of all, credit to whoever discovered this theory but I can’t find it anywhere! The fact that “slime” is blood/insides and gore and the mask disguised that is horrifying because Charlie is covered in it. The mask also disguises that Frank is a corpse and turns them into a skeleton which is less gory, this only happened when the mask glows, which is probably why it’s always glowing around Charlie.

I feel like people aren't talking about the mascot enough. I know there's not much to go off of, but that mascot definitely is up to something.
Especially when it started talking about "THEY'RE CHEATING" and "MY WALL" when Sneeg and Ranboo used the scissors. Also the "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" when Ranboo put in the VHS tape.

he starts the stream with seeing that he is not supposed to be there, that something is wrong. that's the part that would normally be cut from a show. but it was live. he was then taken over and started acting like a video game character. pure genius.
Theory time!
At the start, somebody wakes up. We’ll call them R1. They try to take the mask off, check the doors, see the green birds place, open the book that triggers the haunt.
The urn falls at 2:08. We get our first intelligible words from R1: “wasn’t supposed to...”
Then the mask lights up and they scream NO! before suddenly becoming R2.
R2 is a lot calmer and more friendly; they’re able to be controlled by the audience; they’re the perfect pawn.
Now, what this looks like is that R1 is TestSubject!Ranboo with enough memories to tell him he’s not supposed to be here, and the mask is a mind control device that activates sometime around 2:30, turning him into R2.
But all is not as it seems! For you see, R1 freaks out after touching the ashes- ashes we later learn belong to Slime’s deceased grandmother! And what sort of entity resides in spooky places, finds itself attached to the remains of the deceased, and moves inanimate objects during a haunt? WHAT ENTITY CAN DO THESE THINGS, RISE FROM THEIR OWN ASHES AND INHABIT THE BODY OF ANOTHER???????
So yeah basically Ranboo was just possessed by demon!slime’s grandma the whole time. We were just doing Truman Show Street Fighter with slime’s dead grandma the whole time.

I actually really love this theory! Maybe not so much the possessed by Charlie’s dead grandma bit, but the R1 and R2 bit for sure. The idea that the mask is how showfall media controls him and that when it’s not glowing is when he is thinking for himself. (Like when he goes through the doors at the start the mask doesn’t glow but when he comes back, it’s glowing again.)
Edit: oh and also towards the end when the screen is ‘glitching’ the light in his mask flashes on and off. When he’s watching the video the mask slowly turns off and he starts acting confused. When the video is over it turns back on and he suddenly starts acting happy that he won again, almost as if he had never gotten confused or even seen the video at all

The parts through the door could have been live, all you need is a green screen, and if you already know what sequence is supposed to play, you just have to flick it on and change to that camera angle. We already know there has to be multiple camera angles.

@@Totallysleepingrn It was 100% marshmallow fluff but they mixed green food coloring into it. As for why it wasn't fluffy, they mixed it so much the knocked all the air out of it.

I feel like that for each person that shows up in his house is one door and one tape. I think that each tape is the whole entire process- I mean as in like the process Ramboo did in the 3 episodes
