- Starting from August 15th, FOX Sports Asia will be refreshed with 3 new channels, all in High Definition.
Fox Sports, the flagship channel, will offer the most popular sports plus pivotal games, matches and races, including the Barclays Premier League (BPL), La Liga, UFC, tennis grand slam semis and finals, and F1 main races.
Fox Sports 2, ‘Hit & Run’, will feature athletics and ball and racquet sports, such as tennis grand slams, golf majors, European and Asian football leagues, Major League Baseball (MLB), Indian Badminton League (IBL) and International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) events.
Fox Sports 3, ‘Feel the Rush’, will broadcast motorsports, combat sports and extreme sports, such as F1, MotoGP, One FC and Extreme Games Asia.
The change will take effect in all countries across Asia where Fox Sports network channels are available, with the exception of China and South Korea where the Star Sports brand will be offered. Fox Sports News and Fox Football Channel HD will remain unchanged and Fox Sports Play and Fox Sports Mobile will continue to be the network’s non-linear play. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

Fox Sports keeps its name
Star Sports becomes Fox Sports 2
And Fox Sports Plus HD (HD showcase channel) becomes Fox Sports 3.
Yep, you're right. That makes Fox Sports Asia had 3 channels, compared during its life as ESPN Star Sports.
But at that time there was 4 (2 or 3 for some countries who doesn’t want to have Fox Sports 3/Fox Sports News, 5 for Malaysia (counts Fox Football Channel also.)
@@Randomlista12 Nah, that's makes confusing. In Indonesia, at that time of this rebrand happened in 2014, there are three already rebranded Fox Sports channels (all in HD) plus Fox Sports News, which continued in SD only until it was gradually closed in some areas between 2016 or 2017. Yes I remember about FSN (or ESPNews Asia) in Asia, in which the format similiar to Fox Sports News in Australia or Sky Sports News in UK than ESPNews in USA. In India, there is Star Cricket and Star Sports 2. When Star Sports India rebranded, the flagship Star Sports Channel rebranded into Star Sports 1, Star Sports 2 keeping its name while receiving a new look, Star Cricket become Star Sports 3, while ESPN become Star Sports 4 (Consequently, that makes Star Cricket HD and ESPN HD become Star Sports HD1 and HD2, respectively, in turn become a HD simulcast of Star Sports 1 and Star Sports 2).
Also, the Star Sports brand were restricted to not just India (since it was owned by Star India), but also China and South Korea (in which ESPN rebranded to Star Sports 2). Now with Disney acquired 21st Century Fox, I wonder if ESPN will return to Asia replacing these brands (Fox Sports Asia, Star Sports India/East Asia). Yes I know there is ESPN5 in Philippines and Sony ESPN in India, but they have since rebranded or being closed (ESPN5 become One Sports in March 2020, yet the online are still active under the former name, Sony ESPN was closed in 30 March 2020, to be replaced by Sony Ten 4).
@@Randomlista12 Really, I don't know much about the football channel which only available in Malaysia (it was only available in TM HyppTV/UniFi TV throughout its life, and Astro (the dominant satellite-based subscription TV provider) already had four Fox Sports channels as I've said.

In Vietnam, Fox Sports Plus HD was rebranded to Fox Sports HD (the HD channel of Fox Sports), Fox Sports 3 was aired later. Fox Sports News didn’t aired on Vietnam.
