Hi there everyone, thanks for watching my content! Do you plan to get a RG353V or RG353VS? Then this short video is for you :)
Commenting here to hopefully get you to see it. I am running production remotely and wondering if you can figure out a way to get resolume on the steamdeck. I have seen some small threads about it but no one actually gives a guide as how to do it. Id love to see you tackle this as it would probably help a lot of production people world wide.
Do all games come preloaded?
RG353Vs has better display
How many gb should it get there’s the 16 plus 64 and 16 plus 256 which seems like overkill
Also there’s the 16 stock gb what’s worth it and what’s over kill?
Would love to see a review of the rg353vs list of games from each system
It's so easy to just throw in your bag and take out for quick or long gameplay sessions, the Game Boy/Game Boy Color inspired form factor is awesome considering the fact that it's rechargeable and you can put a crap ton of games in one handheld.
I love my steam deck, and my wife loves her Odin pro. The emulation on both devices are amazing, however, I can’t get enough of this device. Like you said, the gameboy inspired design is just perfect. A nice bright screen to go along with it. Makes me very nostalgic personally. Lastly, decent price! Roughly the same price as my color back in the day.
Love this little powerful thing. Got the VS a month ago and still working great. Weird and awesome being able to play all past favorite games on a Gameboy clone...nostalgia 💯😂
Yeah it’s great :)
Are there any nintendo ds pokemon games on these devices?
@@geenaweenis937 yessir it can play up to the NDS generation of games
Do it does work right? No foolys?
*Edit:* Holy crap sorry for the broken English;
Does it work? Cuz I really don’t want to get my hopes up if it’s just a scam.
@@Kortlandt out of the box its perfect emulation of consoles up to PS1. N64 can get laggy so you'll probably have to adjust shit. Dreamcast emulates pretty well, might have issues with analog but I just use the directional buttons. PSP emulates really good imo and have multiple options to tinker with. Don't really play NDS because I get annoyed easy but it is possible and looks good graphically.
Also it's easy to plug and play on my TV..the VS turns into a controller and you can Bluetooth connect wireless controllers for 2 players. So kinda like having all those consoles in 1 👌
Great video! Thanks
Great comparison video.
Thank you!
👍 For the Video
But a sub for holding the handhelds for 30+ seconds 😆
Can you choose the aspect ratio in every emulated platform? I'm not a fan of stretching the screen. And how many hours does the battery last?
can you use gameshark or any kind of cheat with the dualboot
I believe VS boots slower not because of RAM, but because of lack of fast eMMC memory. Maybe a better SD card could improve that.
The eMMC memory is for Android. Linux runs from an SD card in either device.
Does both already comes with the games?
The same comparison can be made between RG353P and RG353PS, right? The performance is the same
does it have Naruto games or a Spider-Man games or god of war games, pre-down loaded
Were they using identical SD cards for the boot speed test? These have identical processors so boot times should only vary by a second or two.
Yes, They have a 1gb ram difference which is huge for a device like this
@@RetroTechTwistthat makes no difference on Linux.
It does not even use the 1 GB all the way
RG353v also has touchscreen.
@@80sbaybii54it does
I’m having troubles with mine. I’m not very tech savvy, so please if you could give me a tutorial on how to make might work.
They have different versions in SD card sizes. Do the bigger sizes have more games?
Yes :)
Hi, amazing video do u know if u can play N64 Super Smash Bros on any of these devices
Thank you! Yes it'll work on both, but for best performance I would get the 353V and play it on the Android side.
@@Techcravers Ty so much
hi..metal warrior snes game included?
Is the galaga and 1945 exist there?
Just wanted to kno if the 353v has a touch screen it said it does on the website but i havent seen anyone on youtube try it out
The V does use a touch screen. The touch screen only works on the Android side of things though.
If you buy just the console. Is there a bulk download for the games if you supply your own SD card?
No.
yes the name is ARALE arkOS 2.0 broo
and you can use just 1 microsd, not 2 like the original, and is much better than the original (sorry for my inglish)
It's driving me crazy, when I try to play games the b button is mapped to open the menu so if I want to jump in a mario game is brings up the menu and literally makes all games unplayable...
Did you find a fix?
@techcrovers I can't find any Mario or Pokemon on mine
I'm having trouble figuring out how to add PlayStation games on here , I add N64 games no problem but I'm not sure what Im Doing wrong with the ps games. Maybe you could do a tutorial on this it would be a huge help.
The folder is called PSX.
Which can play ngage games?
Can you add movies to to it by just putting them on a sd?
i guess so because it got an android side.
I´m looking for a cheap anbernic which can play up to N64. After many many vids I´m uncertain if I should buy a RG35xx h or a RG353VS. What do you recommend?
Not the RG35XX as it doesn’t have an analog stick.
@@Techcravers but the H version has one
If youre a retro gamer, i think you dont need touchscreen and android. Maybe vs is good for because its cheaper
Do they have xmen arcade on there
Hi are these better than a sony ps vita slim ? What does best for graphics etc frame rates etc ???😊
For PS Vita games you need to get a ps vita. But for emulation (older systems) these are great devices.
@@Techcravers thank you I have a choice of anbernic rg35xx plus .or the rg353v what's best do you think. Just need it to play PS1 and psp games smoothly ))
Can you play the old original Pokémon games??
Yes
Can you find shiny Pokemon
There's really no reason to NOT go with the V over the VS UNLESS you don't care about some games being better in android mode, AND/OR if you have ABSOLOUTLEY NO PLANS to use the device for DS games, since the VS has no touchscreen
As far as I know the touch screen won't work on NDS
Also the Dual boot systems tend to break due to boot corruption
@@NinoJoel touchscreen only works in android mode, but no in linux.
@@NinoJoel it works better
@@sedna2644 what works better?
Can you delete games by the mass?
Mount sd card on your computer and remove.
anyone know if its possible to play pokemmo on this?
Anbernic has spoiled me and I almost always go after the dual boot systems whenever I can. Plus their new frontend on the Android side, while not perfect, still does a decent job in a pinch. I use the Linux side more often, but it is nice to have some emulation improvements on the Android side, and you can run some native Android apps.
I like this, but if you buy it, is this than include the games?
Yes. I just bought the RG353V 256gb variant and it came with 35000+ games pre-installed.
@@ralphkleinguevarraPokémon games too? Do they work well?
@@trevernunez9177 the included ROMs aren't that good but you can always replace them with ones from Vimm. And yes, they work well.
for me its rg 353vs, android and touchscreen is unnecessary
On this device I agree.
And you find 1GB Ram bedder than 2GB?
@@therehocipe yup , for retro games , that's an overkill . anyway in this retro handheld you will play one game at a time so no multitasking. and most games are not ram dependent. sorry for my bad english
@@SimplyTechKey only overkill if you're playing very old games.
@@sam8404 yip, considering that 353v has a bit weak processor its not advisable to play moders games, anyway that is why it iscalled retro gaming right? I hope you got my point, unless you want to play ps2 ,ps3,ps4 games in your anbernic rg353v😅
Are the games free??
DOES THIS CONSOLE HAVE "SPAWN: In the Demonds Hand " For DC "DREAMCAST" ‼️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
is there a way to trade in the pokemon games?>
If it has bluetooth, it probably does.
No, ypu cant even save pokemon ganes on these. Progress resets every time you tuen it off. Half te games dont work on these things.
@@danakin6207 the in game save works fine for me. dunno what your issue is
@@danakin6207 you messed with the wrong settings then
353v for me. i’m trying to play pokemmo
This or the powkiddyrgb20s?
This hands down, it's more powerful then the rgb20
Lol i thought you said Aberdick instead of Abernic.
Man that display on the vs looks so much brighter and the colors pop whats the deal with that is it because one is a touch screen?
It's indeed a different display.
Vs is the cheaper version
Bro in India on Amazon it cost me more than PS4
That’s unfortunate.
