I think this has been impactful over the years. The themes have been more heartfelt. You can't just stay where you are hoping this will happen. You can't stay in your bubble. Don't limit yourself or believe the negative things people say about you. You do have brains, courage, and a heart. You have the power inside yourself to achieve all your goals, Sometimes you need help to stand up for yourself, but once you do the brand new day comes and you can rejoice.

the wiz was not a "ripoff". it's literally retelling of the l. frank baum story. essentially a remake
