Wonderful as ever, thank you Paul. Something I have always wondered about this tune: what is the correct rhythm for the second bar (and fourth, and sixth..)? Some performances have a rest on the downbeat, but others play on the downbeat. You seem to have "hedged your bets" here and gone for the former for the beginner's version and the latter for the advanced version - is that right?!
Thanks! If you’re playing the melody by yourself then you can choose, it’s played so many different ways. If you were playing this in unison with another front line player then you may want to go with the beginner version, but you can alway discuss this kind of thing if you’re rehearsing it.
