That rabbit meat was in the season 1 where kirito brought the Rabbit meat to asuna's in game house where sher cooked for him it's probably just a trophy like thing
She made stew out of it so he can probably do that with the mod

The rabbit is a reference to season one where Kirito was hunting and killed a rabbit which dropped, "S-class meat" which is supposedly one of the rarest and hardest meats to obtain the only way to cook it without burning it was with 100 levels in cooking. Asuna walks in and Kirito asked her what her cooking level was at she stated max level (100). I guess long story short it's a reference to how Kirito and Asuna's relationship first bloomed
Funny thing is, even after months, I've seen all of sao except the new stuff.
