Soy gringo, pero mi espanol es mas mejor despues tengo que mirar El Internado. It was a lot better than Narcos. All i learned from Narcos was puta and how to conjugate the verb trafficar. Yo traffico drugas. Tu trafficas drugas. Nosotros trafficando drugas. I thought the writing was really good. The show doesn't waste your time. If they're showing something its because its part of the plot.

amazon prime has it, but says "it's unavailable to watch in your location." I saw it on Netflix when they had it a couple of years ago, but I wanted to recommend it to a friend. Try writing to amazon asking why it is not available in the US.

I've read about the Russian version, I've not watched it, so I can't judge, but it seems like Spanish version would make more sense unless they made drastic changes to the plotline. I don't want to "spoil" it, but for those who know who the "bad guys" are, how exactly did they end up in Russia? Spain makes a lot more sense. Of course, I've not watched the Russian version, maybe they changed it. At any rate, I prefer originals to copies. El Internado is excellent, probably my favorite tv series.
I've just watched a couple of episodes of " Закрытая Школа " here. I don't care for it. A couple of things 1. Teens in El Internado, the main heroes, look younger. Some of those teenagers in " Закрытая Школа" already have wrinkles. 2. The plot of El Internado makes a whole lot more sense in Spain. Many nazis from Germany escaped to Spain. It'd be impossible for them to settle in the Soviet Union, this part of the plot simply doesn't make sense in Russia. 3. The dungeons, "pasadizos" in the Spanish series look a whole lot scarier and more realistic. In the Russian series there is electric light there, it just doesn't make sense. 4. This is from comments of people who watched both series: the Russian series follows the plot of El Internado pretty closely, but then starts to deviate in later series. When it does, there are a lot of inconsistencies in the Russian version, also some of the stories are not resolved. Everything is consistent in El Internado, all is resolved. Incidentally, you can find El Internado in Russian translation (subtitles and/or voiceover) on vkontakte.
